Me too, but as a woman that kept getting trapped in abusive relationships, I can say they happened! It’s that we’re weak, or so I love, or even fearful. There are a lot of issues and stages. But type all wives as useless victims, the mistress is a gold digging and murderous whore, and the man is an abusive and heartless 🤬 until the end! All-in-all most dramas do tend to be over the top on violence!
Absolutely loved this drama. The FL took the abusive partners words seriously when he told her ' not to expect a better attitude towards her, and that even her slightest touch makes him feel sick'. She like a queen moved on after giving him a last chance, and never looked back. She later on lived a very happy and wholesome married life with her new husband who cherished her and made her feel so loved by his actions alone and she reciprocated his feelings ❤

I so agree. I love this drama too, and I've watched it many times. That's how relationships should be. Having said that, I've seen another drama with this fl and the sml again playing the toxic ex bf. They are actually both good actors so I wouldn't mind seeing these two in another drama where he is the ml, but in a good relationship. But I wonder if he has now been typecast only playing the despicable ex!

Technically she was a 2FL in the that mans life. He never promised her anything, he was happy to have her around family maybe to stop parents from bugging him... she did the right thing by giving him an ultimatum and he didnt come. Thats her being strong and moving on. Lets be honest women keep lying to themselves about these men. If i put more time in, if his family loves me, if i cook clean just to his needs he will want, marry me ( can marry you but neglect/cheat he an arse) blah blah.
It was nice to see her realise she was too much of a love brain (one-sided) and a man who likes you doesnt need you to start some sort of points card. The real ML of her life wanted her and did not need her to perfom a role.

This is one of the best ones! She didn’t end up with the abusive guy, there was no unnecessary love triangles and people trying to step in-between the 2 main leads like in other dramas. I loved how the ex’s 2nd fiancé was like I’m out Mr. Lu deal with your own shit. Such a good drama.

This is a great drama. I particularly loved how the ML adored his wife. Even though the marriage was very sudden, he clearly was in love with her and had been for many years. I loved how she was so accepting of him and didn't dismiss him or mope about over the loss of the relationship with the scumbag ex. The ML and FL's relationship is so lovely, 🥰🥰🥰, and he is adorable.

Not as in other dramas where the male act like an aggressive gorilla toward his girlfriend, wife, and the girlfriend has a 5 year old voice, attitude, behaviour, IQ. Ah, do not forget about the women’s (over 20 years old) accessories: black kindergarten shoes with white short socks and the huge, enormous black bow on their hair.

This is my 5th time watching this. It’s the most beautiful version of this story. I love the way he understands her and watches over her very carefully. I think he knows how abusive the jerk was to her, and maybe he knows she hasn’t been loved since her parents died? He really SEES her.
He’s gentle and patient, loving and truthful, and he often jokes with her to lighten her mood. It’s a first love for both of them (I think the jerk was from loneliness) so he doesn’t count. She told ever She got married and deleted his contact info and only had bad memories of him.
Just watching them soothes my heart. It’s a rare love and it’s clear the writer has been both hurt and loved before. She blossoms under his care. 🥰🤩
Both are great and talented actors. A story that shows love, respect and understanding between the couple. One of my favourite dramas. I’ve watched this version several times. Highly recommended.

Loved loved loved this version of the plot. Both leads were great and natural together. Their relationship evolved beautifully and was solid. The ending was super deliciously sweet and complete...on to the next!!!
I love that part when the friend says something like, a person doesn't give you up so easily but because of the accumulation of all disappointments she felt from him.
沒有大上大落的狗血節情，不過拍得穩當，男主對女主不停情深灑糖，好看，可以; 難得女主角雖溫柔婉若，但有她自強正向，很好啊！
推推推推，必看❤這部真的好好看，都沒有廢話，男女主演技佳cp感足，男主越看越帥，不是高調甜寵，而是溫潤情感的堆疊，看到後面覺得感動🥹整齣沒什麼過多吵架戲，連綠茶戲都是點到即可，整體劇情流暢緊湊，渣男跟渣男媽也演的很好，難得看到一部舒心又暖的劇👍

I love this drama. He really loves her. Just marrying her, he sacrificed all his wealth for dowry and even signing a contract as a promise for her grandfather that even their marriage will not work, all their properties will belong to her. He also believes her, unlike the scumbag ex-bf who belittle her and believes in someones lies. He is so patient and loving to her, luckily she married her or her life will be like in those other dramas that the wife will be miserable and the mistress will likely make a scene just to divorce her husband and even possibly kill her😅.
No worries. If it had followed the other dramas, she would have been killed, reborn, and hey, marry the right CEO again! HAHA.

Well to be honest she never actually loved the first guy. She was trying to fullfil her mother's last wish. Plus she was raised by the guys parents like a daughter after he parents died, so she probably felt marrying him will fulfill her debt to them for raising her. So she was just fulfilling an obligation. She hoped to just manage life with a no emtional base marriage as long as she has some basic respect, which he was never going to give her. But thankfully she had a lot of self-respect to stay with the guy even if it is to fulfill her mother's wish or the debt tk his parents for raising her.

其實到後來的戲劇都有好幾部作品拍的很不錯，沒再有那種女主被虐了還癡癡的待在虐她的人身邊不離開，非要等到自己被傷的體無完膚才決然的離開，而最後又因替她擋了一刀結果又回頭，附帶一提，後來王格格拍的及其他戲劇都寫的不錯😊，希望再多幾部像這部劇情一樣，女主對愛情保留理智，對於不愛她的人不會捨不得放手

This short series is just perfect and feels like real life....I just love watching this series the most no matter how many times I watched I like it very much and more than before....I love how ML is loyal and gentle towards FL from beginning and FL too loyal to ML after marriage till the end

Her bestie normally plays a scheming 2FL, it's funny she shoots a text to get the actual schemer beaten into the hospital.
This was a good one! They were solid from beginning to end with no kind of shenanigans of getting kidnapped or stabbed by the crazy villians.

im pretty sure i completed and enjoyed this drama only because of the chemistry between the FL and ML. the english subtitling was giving me alot of confusion, so i stopped struggling to comprehend any of the other stuff going on.
