Magnet sliders make so much more sense than plastic ones. My plastic lid (off brand tumbler) had prongs that kept it attached and a tiny gasket to add friction. In the 6mos I've had the cup I have nearly lost the gasket on multiple occasions when washing and just broke one of the prongs. Going to get one of these to replace it

I dropped my tumbler in Amtrak train, never found it. I thought the lid was broken. Maybe I can just buy the slider thingy 😂

I like this product but I'm concerned with how it will fit in my car. I know it will fit in the cup holder but I drive manual and the cupholder is pretty close to the shifter and I'm worried it will be in the way when shifting because of its height

I wonder why Yeti opted for a friction fit lid instead of one that screws on? That's the only flaw I can see in these cups.
The Magslider isn't as good as I had hoped. Transporting it in my car if the drink isn't even not all that close to the top and it sloshes about - drink leaks out the holes under the slider.
Whilst on topic, my 30oz Rambler doesn't keep drinks hot/warm as long as I would've thought either. My £8 Asda/Walmart flask keeps drinks warm for probably at least twice as long. The quality and design of my Yeti is fantastic though.
My future hopes would be for Yeti to bring out a Rambler which I could transport my coffee in and just place it any way I wish whilst driving like I do with my Camelback bottles and cold drinks, worry-free!
I agree 100%...What good is a Yeti cup on my boat if the drink spills out. Any cold liquids will spill out even with the MagSlider closed. Hot drinks will splash out...be careful. I also agree that it doesn't keep drinks hot/cold for long periods. My kids 2.99 cup does a better job at all these things..my kids cup never leaks...ever! Never again will I buy this crap.

Same, very disappointing, trying to find an alternative lid for it. There is a thing called a "stop-it" but I don't think it's compatible with the magslider lid, only the original lids

I just bought one Yeti 20oz tumbler. The magslider lid IS leaking !!!
Mine all do leak if it's hot liquid and I hold it upside down. But only hot stuff like coffee. I have a few now and non leak with room temp or iced liquid. Maybe contact YETI? Idk

@@absolutelynobody2321 Nope, ordered on the real site in the US with an engraving. It seems a lot of genuine Yeti gear has this on it.
