- Stained my new fence Winter 2020 Plymouth MA using Stain and Seal Experts Pecan stain on a 6 foot cedar fence with steel posts installed by Devine Fence Company.
Great product, great results. Had little to no experience with this process and used a very cheap airless spray gun.
I used the same stain on my pressure treated pine fence. It looks great too. Not too dark but also not too light. I may use a sprayer next time as I brushed it in. It took many hours. on 82 foot fence front and back.
Nice job!
Great job! How is the fence stain holding up? How long did it take to dry? I love the color. I was surprised with the finish product after seeing all the runs. Thank you.
Its holding up well against the weather and salt air. I’d say it’s a little bit lighter than when I finished but still seems true to color
Does it smell strong?
Doesn't get any more fool proof than that.
It's a great stain product.
Thanks for sharing this! Would you say it’s definitely DIY friendly?
Yes for sure. Just make sure you prep properly. I think you could even get away with using a hand pump sprayer if you didn’t feel comfortable with the airless gun, but it’d probably take a bit longer and you’d go through more product. The company answers the phone too, if you had any specific questions.
Is this oil based?
Yes, low VOCs and super easy to clean up
@@PaulBonfilio fence looks great 👍
