- Hello everyone ! In this video i play with my favorite tactic.
Keep infantry in the center by support of archers and clean the rest with cavalry. DEPENDS WHAT ITS THE ENEMY ARMY !

In this video the archers are largerly insignificant, you could make the horsemen charge at enemy's footmen that are fighting your formation to reduce your casualties and just destroy the enemy
i'm having an army of inf, pikemen, and i use 2 square side-by-side with arches in theri bak/center. Is useful to separate the enemy formation
nice! playing with mods? Does the AI ever just skirmish first before engaging?
depends what they have like army
if they have a massive unit advantage they'll usually charge their infantry immediately
You seem to know what you are doing, yet you were 1 arrow from being downed by trash archers, having all your orders cancelled and the rest of your troops doing stupid unorganized charge, thats a commander behavior I can't upvote xd
yeah for that reason sometimes i have a small elite group of units around me so i can command without being downed
if i’m not leading the calvary charge or shock infantry
@@BigBirdMMA Yeah, if there are even a few people around they draw fire from you, so you are less likely to get focused. I'd like to see this guy hop around fian champion squad or aserai jared horseback throwers
@@cheerkin i’ve learned the hard way being on the front lines while badass will get you in trouble when trying to pull off any kind of complex tactic i’ll trade me getting less kills for less losses of my men, but i get the feeling of wanting to be the leader flanking and taking out swaths of enemies on your own it’s super satisfying.

Use hills, close inf formation, support with archers/cav/ horse archers. Don't die, or your troops will break formations and charge. Do charge with cav to the flacks/back of the enemy inf
Watch strat gaming, he has several videos on using real life tactics in bannerlord
A good start would be reading "The Art of War" written by Sun Tzu
trial and error id recommend trying a campaign off of ironman on bannerlord difficulty and when you get to battles you think may be difficult saving and running that same battle a few different times even if you win try to win cleaner the next time to the point where you’re beating the AI without hardly losing anyone
@@mirkomateorojas2496close infantry formations are great for opening cav charges and archer volleys but when the opposing infantry comes in you want to spread your line and have it a bit longer than the enemy that way they flank better
