The teenage actress was Betty Lou Keim-who I met in 1989 while I was working at s "Fast Frame" store in the Valley. She was wonderful and kind. I still have the autographed 8 x 10 still from this film she signed to me. I found the autograph...and discovered she passed in 2010. A really fine actress.
I love what one critic said about Ginger's appearance in this film: "Ginger Rogers, in all her tight trousered glory..". Ginger looks spectacular and the set designs for this film are equally memorable especially in this scene.
