Oh boy , a bottom of the foot surgery , not good, I had one of those , the worst thing that ever happened to me , it has turned into almost 2 years of hell, with lots of scar tissue to walk on and , yep , now a stumps neuroma. Looking at another surgery to fix that, but that will be a top of the foot surgery to get it out ,No one will ever cut the bottom of my foot again.
I am headed for this surgery. Will not get it done on the bottom. Worried about stump neuroma. Progression of pain over the last 15 years. Cannot take it anymore. No more shots. Just take it out. Decompression surgeries are done but not has been written about outcomes. We will see.
