I have been following Flylady for years and love zone cleaning. I was like you and would become overwhelmed when life was busy with little ones. I like to choose deep a cleaning task, an organizing task and sometimes a decorating task when I'm in each zone. Thanks for sharing, Mickey. I just love your videos!

I also make sure that things are clean and orderly during the day. I love a clean home. I make the beds each morning. No dishes are ever left in the sink overnight. Bathrooms are spotless before going to bed. I could never start my day in a messy home. That was instilled in us as children.
Hi Patrina, my mom kept her home immaculate too and it was just the way she taught us to care for our home.
I was hooked on Flylady years ago.
I have found her videos to be great too. I never had her book though, so I might just get that. Nice to have on hand. Thanks for your motivation, Mickey! I have had days where I just want my normal schedule back. I love having everyone here of course ...just has turned my day upside down at times and then I get frustrated. I think a review of Flylady will get me in the right frame of mind as well as your great videos!! Your home is beautiful as always!! Have a good week and thanks so much for all you do!!❤️
Hi Randi! Our days are a little more crowded with everyone home but we have worked it out. Flylady was a game changer for me!
My Bashful Life She was for me as well. She was how I got hooked on You Tube and the world it opened for me. Yes, a little more crowded here. Our daughter just graduated from college and she will be starting grad school in January. I am happy to have her at home for awhile.

Hi Mickey, what do you use to keep your whites, white? Love your vids as they keep me motivated!
I’ve been using OxiClean white revive and soak the white for an hour or so before washing and it REALLY get them white again! 😊 Maria
Hey Tina! I add about a cup of baking soda to my white loads and use bleach when needed!

Routines have always kept me on track
I'm new to mastering Flylady and love it just as you describe. Your home looks beautiful and sparkles from your cleaning and lovely decorative touches. 🤗It's 1:30pm here now and my own modified morning routine is complete. Task for the day is to make some play dough to enjoy with my little one (and bigger one...who still loves it!) Dinner is to hand and simple - Taco Tuesday with some ground turkey! I'm really enjoying your channel and your organisatio tips. Very motivating as I'm trying to juggle work and adding more videos into my routine each week.

Could you do your makeup routine?? I'm having a hard time just getting out of bed I love makeup but this Covid got me feeling under the weather I still do my chores but putting clothes on and makeup is becoming a chore...I just shower and put fresh clean pjs since I'm not going anywhere.
I will add that to my video list. I always feel better when I am dressed, with make up and hair done. It just makes me feel ready for the day. I usually have pj pants on too! 😊

I love your videos and you are an inspiration. I've been wondering how many hours you work per week (not during this pandemic) . I am gone 50 hours a week for my 40-hour work week and I could not keep up that schedule. I wish I could!
That’s a lot of hours! When I was working It was about 25 hours per week. That’s why I think it’s important to create our own schedules, we are the only ones who really know what we need to get done in the time that’s available.

What detergent are you using because your whites are so nice and bright??
I am a Tide girl, I do add baking soda to my white load and bleach if needed!
Method products have anti bacterial products. Better for you as you dont breathe the harmful fumes.

What is swishing toilets?
Lol, that’s what I call cleaning the toilets, swishing them with the brush!
Wear gloves. And watch aerosol cleaners so bad for our lungs
