That's my Grandmother's place in Home run Derby, she had the Awnings put up over her windows cuz Homeruns would break out her windows during the regular Ball Season. She would go TOO that ball stadium ALL THE TIME.

Was watching the night he hit 715.
Al Dowling was pitching for the L.A. Dogers and grooved a pitch and Hank hit it over the left field wall in Atlanta .
Buzz Capra caught the ball .
Capra was a ex -N.Y. Met .
It was 04-08-74. .Dowling never played MLB. Downing grooved one. Hank did what he was supposed to do.
The ball was caught by Tom House.

If he had played his career in the giant media market of NYC there would have been a famous folk song written about him. He was better than Mantle and better than DiMaggio. If you subtract all of his HRs he still finishes his career with over 3,000 hits. Astonishing.
