V Rising After 300 Hours is 1.0 Worth Playing?

- V Rising after 300 hours with ~160 being before 1.0 launch and ~140 after. The game is still my favorite survival game to play solo. I love the combat, art style, progression and gameplay loop. I'm very hopeful they'll continue to work on this game since it's always a great time to experience the new content they add to it.

Got it a week ago. Played 100hours straight no bullshit. Just about to fight Dracula. Half the time I'm just dripping out my castle and building up my minions. I have two castles and max minions. This game is literally so good
I try to tell people one play through will be 75-100 ish hours of fun. Then you can switch up to Brutal and gain another 100+ hours. For 30 dollars? Its a no brainer

V Rising isn't really my kind of game, but it's nice to see you playing something that you enjoy, Dough. Let's hope they can get Helldivers back on track. Until then, keep playing the games you like.

Got this game when it came out, loved it. Played it again recently and it SOMEHOW got even better. Also 100% gameplay, 0% immersion-breaking bs. Instant-buy.
For mobbing: I have Ball Lightning along with an Axe that inflicts Leech on Frenzy: those followup strikes trigger lots of chain lightning, Pistols that have Static on Fan the Hammer, paired with the Illusion dash and Spectral Wolf with the final piece being the amulet that boosts movement speed and inflicts Condemned while summoning skeletons. Volatile Arachnid is my base Ultimate. Enemies are Weakened, Condemned, Leeched, and have Static. Makes Rift Invasions wild.
It sounds fun but I still dont know if its worth it for me to buy. Like if I will get the enjoyment out of it. I would like to see you playthrough the game for that reason. To see the gameplay and then decide for myself if I want to get it. I haven't played a game like this before, so I am a little confused. Congrats on 150K! ♥

I already liked your Helldivers content, but now you are tapping into one of my favorite games of all times. V Rising is insanely good. I envy you for having been able to already put 300 hrs into the 1.0. I am at 800 hrs for the Early Access alone (both for the first release and the Gloomrot update combined). I have played multiple servers pve and pvp (pve mostly) and I am still not tired of this game. After Release I only got to play about 40 additional hrs so far. Lookin forward to each and every additional hour I am gonna clock in that game :)
I love the way resources are distributed now both in terms of available nodes and what you get from chests, destroying items and general drops even. The surprise of coming across a very high level V-blood roaming about is always interesting. With the new armor sets and passives stacked with good scholar blood purity a very potent mage type can be crafted for sure.
Fantastic game. I've been off and on since early access started, and somehow they made 1.0 just even better. I love V RIsing! Great review, brother
Kind of excited to see you cover V-rising on your channel. I love your cadence and commentary in your Helldivers 2 content, which is how I first found you a while ago, but I feel like I could watch you play any game and still be entertained at this point
