This rep seems great, the prices don’t hurt as bad when your rep works with you like this. A lot of the time you’re not paying for the tool, you’re paying for the guy to drive to you each week in case you have to warranty that tool
100%. The guys in our area is Dean, Carl, and Cole and they're all top tier guys. You'll see all 3 on this channel.
Thank You! For the positive feedback
Dean is one of the best reps around. The support he shows his customers is next level
Exactly
Yeah but what’s stopping you from driving to harbor freight to warranty whatever you got from them that broke
That’s the best-stocked, best-organized, and most professional tool truck I’ve ever seen.
Just released another well stocked truck yesterday too. Check it out.
Here Here........................Well Said , and a True Statement !
Dean is an amazing dealer! He was my first Snap-On truck experience and always had a wealth of knowledge to share
Couldn't agree more!
Our senior mechanic and the shop manager got an argument with a Snap On guy... he never comes to our shop anymore 😅 and we got ourselves this Mac Tool guy.. 🤦🏻♂️🤷♂️ Oh well.. it is what it is.. 🙏
We kicked out r for well guy for being racist
My store manager actually kicked out the Mac tools guy for taking a mechanics stuff that didn't belong to him..I love my snap on and matco rep
Thanks SnappyDean. In progress doing a heavy duty mechanic foundations course. Thank you, Tekamo, for helping me decide that this is what career I'm pursuing!
You picked the right career boss 👌
This is the best Snap-on dealer in the LMD. You will not find another like this man right here!
Im not a mechanic, but I've been wanting to stop and see one of these trucks. Just saw gearwrench at the local Midas and almost stopped. I don't want to interrupt good business, but these things look awesome.
This guy really makes a difference when buying from the snap on truck. I only have a few tools from snap on and every single time I’ve bought them (3 different dealers) they always have been rude. Always with the “what you want?”. Glad there’s people like this guy that willing to work with their customers, maybe one day I’ll give them another try.
One time on an Air Force flight line, we were working on a notorious difficult extra shallow, extra wide, and needed extra thin walls on the socket. The machine shop lent us a secret custom socket that no brass could know about, because all tools needed to be approved before entering the flight line.
Anyway, Snappy making this custom tool reminded me of this.
Wow, here's a guy that puts his heart into what he does. You don't get snap on trucks like this in London, UK that's for sure. I'm glad to see things going well for you dean you seem like a lovely chap.
We’ve a snap on tool truck come to my works in Wolverhampton
Sure you do, one comes to me every week at my home. But they're not comparable to this truck or this tool dealers knowledge/service@@Thecrazyvaclav
Thanks SnappyDean. Glad to see you supporting your customers anyway you can!
he's the man
I really enjoyed watching this today it was fun! My first time stepping on a snap on truck was 1978. I was working at a small engine repair shop just starting out! And walking on that truck was so cool! and now 46 years later i still in enjoy getting on the snap on truck from my dealer and week were i live at and my tools are snap on to the tool box is snap on! Snap on tools makes my job so much easy so i can do my job the right way! Thanks guy's.
That story is absolutely awesome that u went out of your way, even after hours to help a . mechanic in a real jam
Couldn't agree more!
Thanks SnappyDean. As someone looking at tool boxes, that rock and roll truck made my credit card quiver in fear
Hahaha they’re definitely nice boxes
I'm 36 and going into a career change, hopefully an interview this week. I'm in a blue collar/white collar level job now, looking to switch to airframe mechanics through a buddy being a team lead. I will have to work for a bit until I can fall into apprentice level when the company class spaces open. I was worried the apprentice style discount option wouldn't apply to me but it sounds like mid video it may. Having 5 kids and a wife at home limits what funds I'll have available to build out a new set of tools but it would be nice to get a break and get some say ratchets and things i'd use regularly where some quality could pay off.
$1.2M total sales? So he has sold 2 spanner sets? 😂
Last time i drove 30 miles to meet dean i didn't know how famous 😂he was ha ha he had what i was looking for to finish a job his truck is probably one of the most well-stocked trucks in Vancouver area .
Thanks snappydean! Great videos, keep up the good work!
Dean and Cole are fantastic. Appreciate it!
Thanks snappydean wish our snap on dealers were as good as as you. The years of experience show
Dean is one of the most genuine and hard working guys you'll meet. We're very lucky to have him, Cole, and Carl in our area.
Love me Snap on truck tour..Awesome! Thanks Snappy Dean !
Morning Terry! 🫡
Thank You! Terry
I can already hear my bank account draining looking at this video
So what’s the list so far?
@@TekamoHD all electric impacts and wrenches. Long shot that fancy torque wrench a couple of extended ratchets and a set of ratcheting wrenches. That’s just a quick list 😅
Many things here are so underrated. 1. The shop comes to you, at your work, where you need it. 2. You have a HUMAN who KNOWS HIS CRAFT, whom you can SPEAK WITH, to tell get you EXACTLY what you need. 3. No waiting for shipping. 4. Warranty issues are taken care of IMMEDIATELY 5. Related but not the same as shipping: no dealing with addresses, email, phone number, credit cards, etc. to place an order 6. You can HOLD the tool, feel it, see it, make your own judgement. 7. Tools are NOT packaged: no dealing with packaging, papers, unnecessary trash. Tool --> hand, period.
These are all things that have been lost in our brave new world... intangibles blinded out by the shiny LCD screens we now use for everything.
The truck comes to you ?? Yeah if you owe 10-15k I’m tools and a box
Warranty ?? Yeah they’ll fight you on it been there with three different dealers
@user-rr4hr7bz7n you sound like an awful customer. I wonder why you've been through 3 different dealers
Until you break a tool just after he’s left, then it’s a week to wait until he comes back.
@@Thecrazyvaclav Still not as bad as waiting for shipping
@@FryChicken still not as convenient as they claim though, that broken tool holds up work for a week.
Not as convenient as having a tool store on the industrial estate your garage is located, 5 minute walk up the road, I’ve got the replacement tool and carrying on with the job.
Luckily I’m in Europe so don’t really need to buy snap on, with the quality tool makers we have over here., like Bahco who make snap on adjustable wrenches, hex keys and torx keys, same quality, 1/3 of the price.
I would gladly spend my money with this guy just because he’s a cool dude , I had a snap on guy that would always bring in the new and like “ sale tools “ into the shop and try and force a sale but someone who is like there to help but not pushy is perfect
I remember when I was younger looking at Snap- on catalog, and on the very back page was a nuclear wrench. I was like wow!
I know absolutely nothing about tools and am not in the trades, but enjoy these videos and I would definitely buy something from this guy.
The prices are low-key a bit insane but if you need a quality tool
That snappy guy making his customer a custom tool on the spot, after hours, is amazing. I'd buy from that guy and I don't even work anymore.
I loved this video , very informative.
I'm not a mechanic by trade. I'm a supervisor @ a nation wide tree co. In the southeastern U.S & of course we do & are expected to turn wrenches , so I will be stalking my local SNAP ON TRUCK. ALL THANKS TO THIS VIDEO.
great video !!!!
my snappy rep could learn a thing or two from this guy
Sounds good, wish this Snap-on Truck representative was in my area in Kansas!!!
This snap on business owner is legit what a great salesman
THANKS SNAPPYDEAN! Don't matter where in the world ya live Mr snappy will always get ya! 😂
Oh he’ll make sure of that for sure
Love the snap on videos! I'm a tool addict
That's how you do a video! GREAT VIDEO!!!! THANK YOU 👍
Thank you Mark! We have a great media team at Tekamo
Thank You!
Thanks snappydean!! We need more videos!!
Service Call coming soon
They will be coming. Team Tekamo is working with us
Thanks Snappydean!
thanks for watching and entering david!
That’s super cool he did the custom socket
Great Job gentlemen
I'm so glad our dealer in Northern NSW is awesome but its interesting how people's perspective of the brand changes with how good they're dealer is
I was hard core MAC tools and dean eventually turned me because of the dealer support and his inventory. I never had to wait for stuff
Bad reps do ruin the brand. Only rep in our area has been doing it for over 20 years and he's just burned out I think. People are truly lucky to have a rep like this gentleman that cares and has things in stock. I ordered a box off the rock n roll cab truck 8 months ago and still don't have it. So close to giving up on snap on
Don’t give up. The Algona plant is running on all cylinders now. Millions of pounds of cold rolled steel is pumping out of the facility again. It will come.
My old dealer was dogshit. My dealer at my current shop is absolutely fantastic.
Thanks SNAPPY DEAN!
YEAH SNAPPYDEAN!
A whole Mobile truck to showcase tool boxes. Mind blowing costly
We do it for the customer. And it’s a blast. I just delivered 4 new tool storage units yesterday
Got my capital one platinum ready!!
Snappy baby snappy I love snap on!
would love to see your collection hahaha
This guy is great
The custom tool for tylor🔥🔥🔥🔥
Tekamo HD... Awesome tool truck tour. The best one I've ever seen. Like I always say, you can't sell the candy unless they come into your candy store.. I would love to trade my Matco 6s triple bay with hutch in on a top and bottom 84" epic with 2 end lockers. Well I can dream, right?
Talk with your franchisee. Ask him when he/she is having a rock n roll event. They can make dreams come true. SnappyDean.
Snap on we love snap on. Snap on is the best.
Snap-on makes quality tools for sure just like Mueller-Kueps 👌
@@TekamoHD can we get a Matco tool truck tore and maybe mr snap on can send me a free 3/8" Drive Dual 80® Technology Soft Grip Long Handle Flex-Head Ratchet (Red) I just started my automotive tec career would mean a lot from you guys.
@@lpchase2959go with matcos locking flex he'd best design on the market been doing it for a while and I'm in love with em. They are also cheaper👍
Those blue point ratchet spanners look the business for the price 👍
This guy seems great! I wonder what he would think was the best value tool on the truck.
Thanks, snappyDean!!!
Thanks for watching 🙏
Can we get more videos of Tyler? Love the content
It’s Tylor. And yes lots more of TWC on this channel coming 👌
I'm in sales. Food sales for 25 years now. I'm not the cheapest by a long shot, but what is true is the customer knows that you are looking out for them and show them the best item for the need they have. Listen, just like snap on , other reps come after me and all they can beat me up on is price...that's it price. Nothing about my service level, my delivery times, my quality and 100% guarantee...they come at me with price. Remember folks. " Price is what you pay, but Value and Quality is what you get"
Thanks snappydean
Dean’s the man!
THANKS SNAPPYDEAN
Thanks Snappy Dean!!!!
Yooo what’s up Hayden nice to see you again
@@TekamoHDyooo. Just enjoying the content and hopefully winning some more stickers. Love the look of them on my toolbox and hardhat! Hopefully I’ll win a t-shirt or hoodie someday
awesome man. Check your email boss
We want CAM on the snap-on truck.
No. - his wife 😅
Great video 👍
Thanks 👍
I hope this truck is armored up. Brinks doesn't carry this much $ on a normal day.😂
THANKS SNAPPY DEAN!
LETS GO BRETT
@@TekamoHD I didn’t get any my trade your degree stickers last time ❤️😉❤️😉❤️😉
What a friendly guy! Too bad he’s not in my area of the USA.
Yeah they’re both great 👌👌
He treats you like family man. Dean and Cole are awesome so is miss snap.
@@TekamoHD what magnetic screwdriver holders are you using in this video holding the screwdrivers vertically??
The screwdriver display on the roof of my truck?
If he was my snap on dealer I'd be in a whole lot more debt!
love the content! im a powersports tech out of nc, would love to see some motorcycle/powersports tools.
Thanks SNAPPYDEAN
thanks for watching!
That is not a typical snap on truck…. Very well stocked and not just the basics
You typically don’t leave deans because he didn’t have it on the truck. Only time that happens is when you order something really obscure
My snapon guy loves the fact I come on, and I want one of two things, a bread and butter tool, or a tool so hyper specific to a job that he gets excited pulling it out to finally sell one.
I won’t buy anything I don’t absolutely need from snapon, so the main things I buy are the nice everyday ratchets, or tools that I use twice and forget I have. Mostly because other brands won’t make them, like 12point impact sockets.
True story , we cleaned an Amway HQ in Darwin NT , back in day . . implications for others to sink in
Great video!
Thanks man!
THANKS SNAPPYDEAN!
Sick profile picture bro
Thanks!
I remember that exact rock and roll Truck😂. Cause of the snap on boxes
in it
Did they get you lol
@@TekamoHD surprisingly not. They almost got my buddy to buy a Mrbig tho
All vehicles and equipment should only have five different sizes of fasteners for everything,no specialty tools,no bent, offset, inverted picks,no unobtainium tipped special torx drivers, nothing fancy. You should be able to fix anything with a 10,12 or 17 mm socket,a flat screwdriver, rubber mallet, vice grips and an adjustable wrench, that’s it😎
SNAP ON.
🔧
My complaint with snap on is when you try to order something it takes months to get something and the prices but they do make great tools
Yes that can be a problem I waited 4 months for a adapter set. But it’s just the way it is factories make bulk of one item before switching equipment around for other products.
Would like to see more videos with Richard
Morning!
GOOD MORNING BRETT!!
Some things are worth getting snap on, some are very much not.
I love tool
Snap on truck at my job is nothing compared to this guys
I don't work at a shop but I see the truck at a shop every Tuesday morning am I allowed to pull in the parking lot and go in the truck to buy something?
Absolutely. Go see the dealer.
Bro, anyone who steals that truck will be set for life! /s
Great video! I'm no mechanic but I do love me some tools! I want those pliers you mentioned at 11:54 (I saw it on CZcams and not on tiktok lol) How would I be able to find the snap-on truck in my area? I saw it a few months ago but I didn't want to be a weirdo and chase the guy down or something that'll scare him lol
Fastest way. Stop at any local shop and ask for the guys number. Be faster than calling HQ
As a lvl 2 HD mechanic I am proud to say I love my snap on tools
They’ll last you the length of your career
💯
I needed a special Allen socket well snappy didn’t have it, my rep ordered a replacement shank of it and told me to modify it to what I needed
Deans done that for me. Needed an extra long 3/4” he cut up a regular Allen and made it for me
He seems a decent enough guy, was still pushing the selling techniques in the video though “ hey it’s 35% off for apprentices, and if you’re a new face come over, let’s chat and get you on the system, so we know your tool needs”
THANKSSNAPPYDEAN
🫡
New to trucks but own a farm and don’t work at a shop or anything. I’m nearly 20 miles out of town in rural oklahoma. But snap on guy stops at friends mechanic shop and John Deere. Can I just walk on the truck if it’s parked or does the door have to be open or something?
Knock on the door. Or call the phone number on the truck
If you’re serious about buying and polite, there is no reason why a Snap On guy would turn you away.
the overhead tool storage is cool. is it like a metal pegboard with small pieces of bungee cord tied to each section? or do you use bungee balls do keep the tools in place.
The cord is threaded through the holes in predetermined lengths and pieces. That way if a piece fails it doesn’t ruin the entire section
@@Deanfrancis-fo7xo gotcha, thanks for the reply. I may try and implement this myself for my tool storage. Great idea.
If I had this guy as my rep, I would be broke as compared to the one we have now.
when Canadian snap on dealers are better than the US
thee snap on truck shoud have at littel frame and then som text over that says "most sold this month" just like an enplye of the month frame and then the pruduct can be hung on the frame just for fun
I would spend 5k a year if I had a dealer like this
That would get you 2 ratchets and set of both shallow and deep well 3/8 sockets.
Overpriced tools sold in an antiquated way . I’m all set
He said air blowers lmao blow guns dude
Great tour. Just a question when a Snap On dealer sells you a USED Snap On tool like a set of wrenches does it still have a Snap On warranty? Our current dealer (which is new to the industry) says it doesn’t come with a warranty even though he sold it and it is Snap On.
So I can only answer the question for how we run our franchise. There is no “rule book” that each franchise can follow. There is of course the actual written warranty policy etc etc.
So with that said this is how we do it. Those wrenches once belonged assumably to the “original purchaser” warrantied to them for the tools life. Once they are traded in to me the retailer and I then sell them to you,the new owner and have proof of purchase in your account profile or cash sale receipt that tool would carry the warranty policy to the tool. If it’s lifetime. No problem. If it has a limited warranty that warranty does not restart. Is what it is. If it’s a tool that is covered by flat rate repair and is still current and repairable that can be done as well.
And again. I can only speak for our franchise. Hope this answers your question. SnappyDean
My Snap On guy said it was cool if I warrantied any of the needle nose pliers I bought of eBay
Again, this is only two tools im talking about and I have a good relationship with my dealer and I’m pretty sure he can judge me as someone who isn’t trying to rip him off.
Hey there Mr.Snappy! If you would answer my question i would be happy. I meet you guyz by this TEKAMO videos. That our boys buying tens of thousands worth tools. And here i am want to make my self perfectly fine starting tool collection. Would it be possible to think that 1000-2000$ range would cover me?
Very broad question. Would need some more info on. Career path. What trade. Professional. Hobby. Etc. but for the most part. No. 1~2 k will not set you up with a good start set. We can chat further in depth if you contact us P.M. FB msg etc
@@Deanfrancis-fo7xo As a hobby for my self. I was thinking to be able to do engine repairing, all types of part changes on a german or japanese cars(both bensin driven) without borrowing tools from other people. Its like independent tool collection of my own. And for the future use of this tools i am trying to make my way up to heavy duty repairs like Tekamo crew. It always been my interests to be a bush mechanic(private called mechanic to fix a machine on spot and make it run/work again.) If it will paint a picture in your mind, i am hoping to (in future of course im just dreaming about it) build myself a V8 diesel with semi track wheels to reach challenging terrains/Workplaces to repair heavy duty machines. Kinda mobile workshop for big boys. Still have alot of work to do before i start ofcourse first i have to get in to the bussines by starting small repair shop for my self then build enought financial freedom to chase my passion. Thanks for the oppertunity i hope you have a wonderfull day.
12:39. Nice
13:05. Good
very nice and good. If you have any questions let us know and we'll do a follow up
How many times does a guy walk in lookup and just Grin?
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
LOL...If your going on a Snap-on truck for the first time bring your whole bank account with you!!!!!
My matco dealer that only one with two people on the truck it works and doesn’t work but I’m a diehard Mac supporter only because of my dealer so if I can I try to buy from Mac
What does he not give up pocket screwdrivers? Does Blue point scrapers are $3 in states.
