I am a sixties scooper and I am currently in a justice studies program in college and continuing for a degree. I want to stand strong for our people in whatever capacity that I can. This presentation was eye opening
Thanks for sharing and I will watch Friday for the special. Let’s unite not divide!

I spent over ten years of my life inside of prison. Now Five years later I’m a student at the University of Manitoba. I’m hoping to bring awareness to the issue that many indigenous inmates are still facing. They need better education and mental health programs that will help them. The system needs to change from the inside out.

That poor guy !! To get treated like that by the he guards was just disgusting your right on that no one should ever have to go through the have type of treatment that s not what jail is for!! The jails or pens in the USA are the worst and it's like they are trying to copy them and thats not what anyone running a jail or pen should be planning for the people that are going to stay there! Can't they run them civilly like a non monster I mean I understand that these were bad people but that's not a reason to treat them like they aren't still a human person!!? And we certainly don't live in the 1800 /1900 era!!! Things definitely need to or should have to change!! People can't remain there for the rest of their lives unless they actually really killed someone!! But to steal that's not a reason to be incarcerated for life com on people wake up start changing especially if you want them to!!! To not be heard would make me TOTALLY frustrated!! It always boils down to the damned police officers they actually are starting to get a taste of what they put them through now they're ending up in prison or jails what comes around goes around!!! 🍁🇨🇦🍁💔✝️🛐🙏😇

I did over eight months in segregation and solitary confinement, moving from one period into another. People need to know start bring on more indigenous millennials that have been in the situations.

They have a federal segregation class action lawsuit. You should have university students that were former federal segregation. Should keep doing follow ups on this issue. I am one of the people this in the lawsuit.
