The beginning of this video made me tear up. I’m a mom of an 11 month old right now and my time with God right now looks like the beginning of this video. Something that God has been speaking to me lately is that me doing and taking care of my family is a form of worship. And God isn’t confined to this time period where I pull out my Bible and pray/listen to worship music. He’s with me ALL throughout my day and there’s a constant conversation. 💛
Came to write a comment and this is me to a tee 🥺 I almost cried watching Milena talk about all that she did - almost from overwhelm (in a good way) of wanting that intimacy with God. I have an 11 month old too and my spiritual walk has just not been very disciplined at all.
Romans 12:1 “Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.”

Be a LIVING SACRIFICE which is your spiritual worship. When we take care of our children to be glory and honor of God we ARE worshipping Him. This verse opened my eyes and freed me from feeling caught between my worship and my life duties. You got this sister, do all things to the glory of God and your worshipping.

I did your book of Ruth study when it first came out! It was actually the first bible study I’ve ever did and since then have grown my relationship with Jesus. I’ve joined multiple bible studies on base. I was also baptized this Easter 🤍 You have honestly helped me with my walk with God, learning how to walk differently through motherhood.

This is beautiful, Milena. I’m in college and struggling to find time to give to The Lord. I mean fully and wholly to The Lord. I will surrender my time to Him and glorify Him with it cause it is ultimately Him that give it to me. I talk to Him during the day, but it doesn’t fill my cup and I know I need that fill of Jesus before I start my day so I’m going to start being more disciplined. A life without discipline is a live of chaos. Thank you for letting me see a day of you being with Jesus. It gives me hope that I can fully be with Him too no matter how busy I am. He’s always with me. I just have to give Him more of me.
i really needed this right now. As a single mom of a two year old, I've been finding myself getting really frustrated not only not being able to listen in church because I'm trying to keep her calm and collected, but not having the time or being too tired to study my Bible. I know a lot of it is me and I have to get better with time management and try new work arounds but it's nice to know I'm not alone. Thank you for the encouragement! This was a blessing ❤
We had the same with our little one in church and it felt so frustrating. We recently started taking some playdoh (one color) and one cookie cutter or something and it seems to work so far! And snacks, that too 😅
I have wanted to comment this for a long time. It could bring me to tears. But thank you for giving me a hunger to be a bomb mother. I am a Christian and when I got married I carried so much from childhood. I knew I was going to lay my life down to be the best mom I could possibly ever be but I didn’t have many examples. Watching you be a stable, Godly, loving mom showed me that I am not alone and that there are moms out there that are raising their kids how I wanted to. You’ve impacted my life so much. I watch you and become so motivated to clean, cook healthy food, and read my Bible with my 8 month old baby girl. I watched your birth videos when I was pregnant and they helped me so much with the fear. I’m pretty sure my baby knows your voice like you’re family because we watched you so much. Lol. You are like the big sister I never had. I love you girl. Thank you.

Hi Milena! Thank you so much for all of your videos. I am very grateful to have a big sister in Christ like you! I have done your Bible study of the book of Ruth and I absolutely loved it! I have learned a lot from it. I can still remember doing it and telling my little sister how great it was and encouraging her to also do it. I just got saved around that time and it helped me so much.
I have great memories about it because the weather outside was just perfect in the early morning, so I would go outside in the backyard with a cup of coffee, a smoothie bowl and just start my day in quiet time with the Lord, hearing the birds chirp, fixing my eyes on Jesus.
Thank you for being who you are Milena, it's honestly so beautiful to see Jesus in you and how the Lord is using you.

It took me awhile to learn that time with the Lord is not only sitting and reading scripture or listening to music for an allotted time in my day, but in how I walk in meditation and practicing a gentle and contrite heart and spirit throughout the tasks of my days. We are with Him in how we love, how we extend almsgiving, how we practice sincere gratitude for our provisions, how we ask for His mercy for our sins. We are with Him in how we live out our days, not only in those hours we set aside. Thank you for spreading the message with your video, Milena! God bless 💗

I have really been trying to get up and have a full morning routine and change my habits. My husband and I both really need a routine to set the tone for the day. I LOVE this video! My husband and I used to listen to Bible stories and kids worship on cassette tapes growing up.. watching your video reminded us that we want to implement the same for our kids (minus the cassettes of course). It’s so encouraging to see a Mom witness to her kids, teach them the discipline of playing by themselves, and take time for yourself. Love your channel!

I have been here when you released the Ruth Bible study, even way before!!
One little story about this is that I didn`t get to actually study it when you released it, although I wanted and today I began a new chapter of my life, to study the Bible daily (even though I made this resolution over and over again over time) and I didn`t feel in the mood for anything that was coming up in my mind to study, so because I was watching this video and you mentioned the Ruth study, it sounded great to me. Even though it doesn`t sound nice that I barely now do this study, it is exactly what I needed now and before I was never in a disposition for it. It has a purpose in my life, which is NOW! Today I completed day 1. For some of us, even your past content is still valid to this day.
By the way, in the past year your content is fire and I love following it even MORE than before 😍😍

Thank you for this video! I was just talking to an elder about how I fell into a “pity me mood” after having my baby and how I believed it was due to not only having a newborn, but also not spending time in the word. My baby is a month old today and I definitely am working towards spending more time with God! 🙏🏽💕

I encourage you to continue being vulnerable and opening up about your spiritual practices. There’s so many influencers online who share spiritual practices outside of Christianity and it is needful and appropriate to bring the teachings and principles of Christ back to center stage.
The idea and goal of reading the Bible in a year has been around for such a long time, and I definitely shared that goal at some point. Now I question the true intention behind it. Certainly reading the Bible is a positive and spiritually beneficial activity so intuitively it seems like reading it in a year would be… extra beneficial? A worthy & worthwhile accomplishment?
But when I look at this goal from a spiritual perspective, I question how we determined the value of a year.
I hope if anyone is reading this, you truly consider the question and resist the temptation to dismiss this opportunity for reflection. Remember anything you do for the glory of God has the strength to stand up to questioning. The Lord doesn’t need you to defend him with your natural mind.
Instead, please pray and ask for the Holy Spirit to reveal:
Where, in your heart, you have found SPIRITUAL value in the timeframe of 12 months?
If you desire the Holy Spirit to lead you in understanding the word of God, what benefit you are reaping by putting a 12 month deadline (or any other deadline) on the work of the Holy Spirit?
And finally is there scripture to support the idea putting a timeline on reading the entirety of God’s word?

this was SO HELPFUL. We hear people say these things but seeing it in action and hearing your prayers is so helpful because while I know there's no FORMULA for what time with God looks like, because of that it can feel like I'm doing it 'wrong' sometimes.
I know not everyone may take this advice but I read the readings for each day from the Catholic Church and it’s finally helped me get back in the word because before I never knew where to go and doing this has been so amazing. It has an Old Testament and New Testament passage and a psalm. They also connect to eachother in theme. Maybe that will help someone out!

I am not a stay at home mom, but my husband is, I just started walking with the Lord after probably 6 months of being apart, thank you for showing me how to pray for my kids and for praying for me as a mom. Oh Milena, thank you so much for this video! Everything about it was so lovely. I so appreciate your honesty, your realness and just who you are. I feel like I'm right with you as you've been growing. I started watching when I had my daughter in December 2021 and I've loved the videos you put out. The videos lately with so much Jesus content have been incredibly encouraging and challenging in the best way. It's just what I need in this season of figuring out how/what it looks like to bring Jesus into every part of my life as I work through anxiety and childhood hurts and learn to parent my daughter (along with the busyness of everything else of course :) ). I appreciate how you showed us how your writing in your Bible is not perfect, it's just like mine - little reminders of what God is teaching me, no fancy calligraphy (not that I'm against it, I am just so untalented in this area haha). It takes down that pressure that our time with Jesus has to be perfect. I'm praying for you and Jordan and your kiddos!

I am not a mother, but I am an aunt to my 3 year old niece whom I watch 4-5 days a week. It feels like I am a mother at times, and I can be so caught up in caring for her that I feel I don’t have the time I truly want with the Lord. I also go to the gym in the evenings, so I’m not settled until around 9pm sometimes and by that time I’m so exhausted. I think it’s going to be more practical for me in the future, to spend time the Jesus in the mornings.
You have grown so much spirituality over the years and it's amazing. I hv been following you since 2020

Oh man, since you did that video about vanity, I've been wanting to share my thoughts..
I'm so grateful for the work of Santification that the Lord has been doing in your life, which is clearly seen. I had stopped watching your videos and some other Christian CZcamsrs because I started getting the feeling that they were just making me focus more on the self, or random stuff like outfits, fancy stuff that I don't need, looks etc and very little of focusing on the Lord, so to see this radical change is so encouraging and so beautiful Milene!
It is soooo awesome so see your boldness and how you're influencing and encouraging many in the Lord!
And I'm not saying that the previous videos were bad, not at all because still I found so much motherhood inspiration and I'm so thankful and I know for sure the Lord have used them as well.
Just hoping to encourage you to keep going and moving towards this direction, cause I know the enemy and the flesh will try to stop you.

The moment of prayer with you and Jordan at the end was so sweet - the part where Jordan prayed specifically for you, Milena, brought me to tears ❤ I've never been in a relationship, but the idea of praying with a future boyfriend/spouse is something I desire to do but have always had a bit of a hard time envisioning, just because I don't often pray out loud with others in general, let alone someone I'm romantically involved with. However, I definitely felt a sense of comfort in hearing you talk about it and can see how impactful praying together can be - just sharing that intimate experience with one another 💞

Another note I wanted to add! What you talked about around 4:55 reminded me of how Christian monks and nuns in their monasteries go about their daily tasks all while speaking to the Lord. I’ve heard that when you observe at a monastery, you will notice some of them constantly moving their mouths in silence as they till their gardens, wash the dishes; going about their daily chores in prayer with the Lord! That is so beautiful to me that their hearts are always fixed upon the Lord in the mundane.
Downloaded the Bible app, don’t have a physical bible anymore. This is the beginning of me finding and owning my faith, I began to read last week, I’m also a mama of littles so time can feel like an illusion . This video was definitely Gods timing.
