- talkRADIO’s Julia Hartley-Brewer has taken Matt Hancock to task over the tightening of social gatherings restrictions in England amid a rise in coronavirus cases.
From next Monday (September 14) indoor and outdoor gatherings of more than six people will be illegal in private homes, parks, pubs and restaurants - with some exemptions.
Julia said: “I’ve got to be honest with you, I’m quite miserable and angry and depressed this morning, Health Secretary.”
Defending the move, the Health Secretary said it was fair and simple: “This is I think the fairest way to keep control of the virus in a way that works and people can easily understand whilst also protecting work and protecting schools.”
What is your reaction to the tightening of measures across England?

How about carrying on taking every precaution, mask wearing, hand washing, sanitizer, sensible distancing, opting to not go for testing but to carry on with safety measures as above, if feeling ill isolate at home until well. Treat it like the flu.

He is lying through his teeth when he talks about Sweden as their total deaths for the year are no different to any other in the last 10, and Norway themselves have said since May that Lockdown was a massive mistake. He continuously lies about what's happening at Europe as if he's not aware that anyone can just look it up for themselves online. He calls these people "conspiracy nuts"

Ivor Cummings explains that the tests are picking up fragments of Covid probably from previous undiagnosed infection. It is very likely to test positive for Covid but not be infectious. it is residual. The Pcr tests are very susceptible to this. That is why some people appear to be re-infected because they test positive again...but they have no symptoms and are not infectious. I do not believe this scammer doesn't know this.

Supposed to be in a local lockdown, was enforced last night. Didn't conform to the first one so won't be doing it this time.
I've already made my mind up that I'm going to follow a path of civil disobedience, and as a result I have accepted that at some point I will end up in prison. however, I don't know if I would do this if I had young children, fortunately I'm not in that position.
It is deeply concerning to hear the UK Secretary of State for Health mumbling like a school boy struggling to spit some dogma instead of giving reassuring signs of scientific thinking.

I was around in 1957 and in 1968 when the Asian flu and Hong Kong flu epidemics were around. I’m still here, and although I don’t remember 1957 (I was only 2) I know that the world didn’t go into a panic and shut down.
