I admire Matt for recognizing Glory’s hard work and everything she does for their family. Some guys just don’t see that kind of thing and complain that the wife isn’t dressing cute anymore or keeping up her look. I love how hubby knew exactly what his wife would like. Sometimes as women, if our spouse tells us to dress better, we might think he’s referring to dressing like everyone else, but here Slice showed that he pays attention to his wife, appreciate her personal style, and just wants her to treat herself every once in a while. We all know things are overpriced anyways, even the $5 item cost a few cents to the manufacturer, so hey 🤷🏽♀️

As a stylist, I agree the wife was right about a lot of the items being overpriced. If he wants her to have quality and she wants to spend less they could make an easy compromise. For example I think madewell on sale would be a perfect medium for them. I appreciate he knew her style. She liked everything.

He spent almost grand on one full outfit. For her taste of clothes that is crazy, but i can see that for him he knows that she thinks she's not worth that much that's why it was important for him to do that for her. I would have wanted to keep the boots too, but returned everything else too, but that was sweet.

You work hard every day. There is absolutely nothing wrong with splurging every now and then. Especially if you can afford to do it. Plus the items are better quality and will last a lot longer than cheaper items. Cheaper items wear out after so many washings....colors fade, etc....so spend your money in ways that bring you happiness and don’t listen to other people trying to tell you how to spend your money or guilt trip you into only buying cheap clothing. You can mix high and low end clothing! And if one day you can afford all high you go for it cuz I know that you guys will also be helping your church, family, friends and others if you ever have it like that!

She's not cheap, she's realistic. I always buy discount, and on sale, because it's pretty common for high end brands to be made in the same places as low end brands. Same fabric, same costs, one has the expensive price tag. I'll take buying many pieces for the price of one expensive one.

As someone who works in fashion I can tell you, that it’s not true. A T-Shirt from Dior is made in Italy not in a huge mass labor place in Asia, with way better fabric and different sewing techniques that will last way longer and is therefore more sustainable for the planet. It’s still overpriced tho.
I have to disagree. Fast fashion clothes arent so lasting. They can rip easily. On another case a good amd high quality clothes usually have different texture, fabrics and even how made. They last longer if your weight always the same and you take care of them. High quality clothes are always more expensive but not always are branded and known labels globally. Gor a t shirt I wont spend much but for trousers, blouse, a suit or coat I will invest.
