Monsta X is slowly growing on me - it helps that their smiles are just UGGHHHH getting to me😍 but I am enjoying the ride when it comes to their music!
Which Monsta X song got you hooked?
For me it wasn't a song, though they're musically SOUND, but their grown man aesthetic and lyrics (besides their absolute hotness, obviously) that got me hooked. They are not trying to look "forever 19" and they have this very mature elegant badassery about them. I'm 36 and I don't want to be watching "school boy" concepts or groups that seem to be styled to look younger than they are. Maybe it's because Monsta X were a little bit older when they debuted, Idk, in any case they are a breath of fresh air in an industry that is sooo suspiciously obsessed with "teenager" looks.
It was actually this song. I loved it when I first heard the sound of it and desided to check out more of their music.
You should also react to their song "The dreaming" it's one of their English tracks and I tear up every time I hear it so it's one of my favourite songs. 😊
Also, at 1:21 as a person whose bias is Jooheon, I was very happy to hear this 😂
I've been listening to Queen a lot lately, in live is amazinnnggg, i still get chills when i remember that night
The song that got me hooked was LOVE and "Kiss or Death" both of them actually. Love was doing its promotions and i saw it come up all time on my feed when reactors were watching it. I listened to it and likes it, but then i saw Kiss or Death in my recommended. K.O. I was gone and never going back.

Love Killa, Gambler, Rush Hour, and LOVE. That is in release order and if you think about it makes sense they are following a storyline in all these songs.
Love Killa - introduces you to MX as all individual criminals wirh their own back story.
Gambler - is a histe story, where they are stealing a Jewel that is being sold in an underground auction. JooHoney (Ju- Honey) kidnaps the Auctioneer and wears his clothes. Minhyuk, knocks out another guest of the auction and also steals his clothes. There are 2 different people that get taken out at the beginning 😂. It's all there, the MV just goes to fast.
Rush Hour - the first scene is them getting out of the unmarked SWAT car. They racer outfits so you could say they are running away 👀.
LOVE - The MV is all elegance, gold and opulence. You could say they made it 👀 they are free cashing in that jewel from gambler.

The one singing the back vocal when jooheon and kihyun (main vocal) where going off. That was my bias hyungwon doing the back vocal deep voice. He’s the tallest member. He’s also one that had a red shirt on the other red shirt guy with the half pony tail and rapper is IM he’s the one you said who are you. Hyungwon is my ult bias and IM is my ult wrecker.
His name is Jooheon and his stage name is Joohoney (Joo-honey), he changed it for international fans so it would be easier for them to say and he actually produced this song!

About the video, the storyline is basically, there's a secret auction taking place. Jooheon kidnaps the original auctioneer and takes his place, that's the guy in the hood. Minhyuk knocks someone out and steals their invitation to the secret auction and that's the guy in the doorway. Hyungwon steals his from a guy at the bar. Kihyun is in charge of setting the EMP which will kill the lights. Shownu is either undercover or legitimately invited and has (presumably) money in a case handcuffed to himself with bodyguards. I.M seems to be the mastermind, with all the papers behind him and he creates the bomb and what looks like a replica of the jewel they are there to steal. So the auction happens, they pretend to fight as a distraction to wait out the timer for the EMP and then while the lights are down, knock everyone out and steal everything and then get away in SWAT trucks, just like Ocean's 11 lol

Thanks for your reaction to MX! Yes, the video is about a heist, and all the things that come with it. People getting knocked out, kidnapped and replaced. Our guys are planning to steal a precious stone (aka your love! Lol) One car is marked differently to throw off the cops? Just a theory. The song is about a not-so-healthy relationship. They’re playing games with each other’s feelings; chances are someone will get hurt. Love is a gamble. That being said, the Monsta X song that hooked me was Beautiful. Shoot Out, Stuck, and Shine Forever sealed their ult position in my roster. Just so you know… there are a lot of even-numbered groups, so you will see this offset V-formation often. Enjoy the journey!

been a n Monbebe since Hero.. tho Middle of the Nght era really helped me get thru my breast cancer at the beginning of Covic.. listened to the guys the whole time i was in the hospital.. they are still my get up and go music to get me motivated. as for spicy lyrics.. check out Love U and Monsta Truck and Love Killa hehe cant wait to see your reactions to those songs
