Great review as always but my p23i in my opinion is still the king. Yes this light you tested has a great hotspot but I'd prefer a little more spill and my p23i has the best of both worlds. I always keep it on tactical mode and with one click down on the brightness the p23i seams to run forever.
People complain about the color being too green, but it's not half as green as the olight warrior 3 and people don't really complain about that. I was pretty impressed with the tint, even in 50 lumen it's crazy bright and on most surfaces it looks neutral white
Runtimes are shorter because the mass of the flashlight pulls heat away which keeps the output at the stated lumens longer therefore draining the battery faster.... Theoretically 🤔

I have the Nitecore P23i ( which i currently use on my belt for self defence ) , i also have the SRT7i but now i am looking at the MH25 Pro. In your opinion, would the MH25 Pro be brighter, stronger specially while using the strobe than the P23i for blinding someone in a self defense situation? I would like to know if that new LED would be a lot better than the P23i for blinding. If not, i would stay with the p23i and if it's a lot stronger, brighter, than i would try the MH25 Pro. Thank you for your input.

I LIKE IT..the new LED is great in this..the MH12 PRO..NOT SO MUCH...this is my new fav Nitecore..i dont check runtimes..but they are lower then the MH12 PRO..im sure due to it having a bigger head so it can run longer.
@@ThatCrazyRCGuy67 Very strange isn't it, unless it's a batch they made up on the main production run. I def felt it was fairly strong tint on mine, the shots on this MH25 Pro look better to me
I was kinda thinking that..like this is the 1st batch of the UHI40, YEAH IF, YOU GET THE MH25 PRO, im sure the tint will be like mine..not perfect..but better then i thought..might return the MH12 PRO..well see

@@ThatCrazyRCGuy67 There is a famous show called "Dr Who", which some of the episodes show creatures called the weeping angels, they will only move when you are not looking at them, which make them pretty scary. Thats what I meant by my comment at 16:11. A quick youtube search should show what I'm talking about lol. But great video, I just bought the MH25 pro and waiting for it to arrive in the next days :)

If you take the tail cap off and push on the back of the battery, there is definitely some kind of spring mechanism in there.

Well this one isnt bad at all..NOT PERFECT..but not to bad...Yesterday got the MH12 PRO..and sadly much more green in the lower modes

I'm loving my mh25 pro also.. I want to get a farther shining spot but I'm not liking the proprietary battery or non-removable batteries
I bet the green tint can cut through the fog real good kinda like fog lamps on a car or truck
I wonder if this is maybe too focussed to be useful in many applications?

It would be better..MH25Pro has more candella...i like the P23i still..but im sure they will make the P20 series with this LED.

Yeah the tint isnt to bad..i just ordered the MH12 PRO...lol..they had the Prime Day sale..so ill compare.
