Well done the colors and composition and as well as the skill set are grand.
I prefer one. I LOVE watching experiments with acrylics. Of course I had to subscribe!!
Thank you very much, Michele! :)
I didn’t know what would the results be with/without medium, but this helps! Thank you!!
Thank you!
Definitely with the medium! The defined lines are much better than the one without the medium. Thanks for sharing your experiment with us.✌🎨✌
Thank you very much! :)
Like medium one... more large cells and vivid colors. Great experiment!
Thank you so much! :)
Thank you for sharing your experiences with us
Thanks for watching! :)
I like the one without medium better. It has a softer texture to the lines. I suppose it all boils down to what you want out of the piece though. The one with medium has very lovely "crackling" (I think that's the term) which would look really nice in a variety of projects.
Thank you very much for the feedback!
Wow, beautiful! They both look great! 😁
Thanks a lot! :)
Love these colors!
Thank you! Cheers!
I can see the differences, and I think they both have their own charms. I guess it’s whatever your looking for. Thank you for sharing. I’ll keep the notes in mind. ❤ 😄
Thank you very much!
Thank you for such an informative video has help me a lot
Glad it was helpful!
Without medium is clearest.Thanks!🙂
Thank you very much, Macska! :)
Thank you for this!
My pleasure!
Love them both 💕 but the one with medium is definitely nicer
Thanks a lot!
Merci géniale l explication
Thank you for the feedback!
I like what you do.
Thank you so much!
Je préfère avec le médium ! Belle démonstration, merci de partager
Thanks you so much, Sylvie! :)
thank you for sharing
My pleasure!
I like both! All depends on whether one wants large or small/no cells.
Thank you very much, Bonnie! :)
I like the one without the pouring medium best. Both pretty
Thank you very much!
With the medium, more dramatic, nice
Thanks a lot!
Phenomenal ❤
Thank you! :)
Very interesting! I did not realize Floetrol was not technically a pouring medium until this video, explains a lot!
I'm glad to hear that! Thank you very much.
Again, I realize it’s a year later from this video but I’m just watching it and I will always use a medium so much nicer, smoother and just simply gorgeous!!!❤
Thank you so much!
Perfetto tutti due 👌
Thank you very much, Elena! :)
Oh the colors are so much more vibrant in the one with medium
Indeed. Thank you very much!
First of all, I love your work. I'm new to acrylic painting, so excuse me if I ask a stupid question. I really like both of them, but I think I would choose the one with the medium. Does the medium cause the cracking or is that from drying to quick? One other thing, I love the music you have in the back ground. Is there anyway to get a name or title of the music? Thank you for your beautiful videos.
The musics are from epidemicsound.
The cracking most probably due to the fast drying indeed.
Thank you very much!
I'm a bit late to the party, but I have a question. You said the cracking is due to fast drying? Does that mean that you quickened the drying process somehow, or was that the end result of just leaving it and it drying on its own? Sorry if it's a stupid question 😅
@alyiidella I find cracking happens when there is too much paint left on the canvas or tiles. The paint dries on the surface quite quickly but if there is too much paint underneath it doesn't dry at same speed so cause the cracks
Love that, & what is that music? Love it, also.
May She Rest - Gavin Luke

Thank you so much!
I don't see much difference between them. But if i have to be meticolous, without medium the cells are smalliest but with medium i see on the canvas some colour cracks. To be honest i don't know if these particularities depends by the medium presence or not...but if i had to choose, i would choose the "without medium" one.
Thank you very much!
Also when the product dries ,.... the paint without the medium tends to crack horribly .
Many says liquid soap will do instead of silicon oil.
Will it work?
I love your style and I learn a lot..👍
I think the result would be not as good as with silicone oil, but at some point I will do an experiment.. :)
Thank you very much!
I like the one with medium best. Clear defined clouds, perks or cells. Whatever you call it. The other was muddy
Thanks a lot! :)
With the medium it gives it a more defined look. The cells are larger and stand out more.
Indeed. Thank you so much for the feedback!
did all the colors in the first pour have floetrol or only the blue? would the ratio be the same with american floetrol? thank you for this video!
All the colors has floetrol. The ratio is the same. :)
So, wait....the Floetrol wouldn't be considered a medium? I'm flummoxed!!!
No, not really. Actually, Floetrol is a paint conditioner, it helps with the paint fluidity, but it doesn't have that many binding properties.
😁😁😁
.
@VizoliArt
I'm still confused, every channel I have watched describes floetrol as a medium, as it still stretches the paint further without losing its colour. I find floetrol hard and very expensive to buy in UK and as just starting out, other than floetrol which options do we have??
@@Faeryflosspva glue works great. Elmers glue all is one I use. Usually mix 70% glue 30% water. Mix with paint 1 part paint 2 parts glue medium and additional water for consistency depending on how thick your paint is. Hope that helps 😊
Both beautiful but I prefer with out the medium
Thank you for the feedback!
Hi, but Floetrol is a kind of medium, a subtitue of medium no?
Floetrol is a paint conditioner, to be precise. :)
Do you add the water to the other colors as well or just the blue one?
I add water to all of them.
Duża różnica 😀
Thank you very much! :)
I honestly like them both. Too bad about the slight cracking in the one with medium. ☹️
Indeed, it got slight cracking, but honestly, I like the way it cracked. :)
Thanks a lot!
Did the first one have any floetrol in it? Or was that just paint and water? The 2nd one does have visible fractals in it. I like the 1st one best.
In the first section of the video I show the exact mixing ratios, check it in case you are interested! :)
Thank you!
@@VizoliArt I went back and watched it again. Now I get it! Thanks for pointing that out. The medium is only on the 2nd pour. It did make a little difference.
Your welcome. :)
So you mixed liquitex with floetrol and water + paint on one side, and what did you mix on the other side?
One of them has Liquitex pouring medium, the other one doesn't. They both have floetrol, water and paint.
I thought that the latex is substitute for floetrol and thus a pouring meduim! As far as I understand it, floetrol as well as the latex or pva help the paint to flow. Is that correct or wrong? Please help cause now I'm totally confused!
You are completely right. :) As a sideeffect, it helps with creating cells also. :)
How much medium would be added to the paint and floetrol? Would the medium be considered the water?
Please check again the video and the description, I mentioned the exact ratio. :)
I think they both have their merits
Thank you very much! :)
You can also use Behr 8300 deep base. It's much cheaper.
Thank you for the feedback! :)
Like meditation
Thank you very much!
but they both have mediums no medium is just paint and water also silicone added!howeer the branded pouring medium i think produced best results
Thank you! Cheers!
So could you just use the pouring medium without the floetrol
Yes, you can. I will show you how in one of my upcoming videos.. :)
I'm a bit late to the party, but I have a question. You said the cracking is due to fast drying? Does that mean that you quickened the drying process somehow, or was that the end result of just leaving it and it drying on its own? Sorry if it's a stupid question 😅
Don'r worry, it's not a stupid question. :)
I didn't quickened the drying process in any way, I just let it dry for 2-3 days on the table.
Thank you! :)
@VizoliArt Ahhh, I see. So, using the medium usually causes some cracking regardless? Thank you for the reply 😄
I didn't say that, but I definetely don't see too much sense using it.
@@VizoliArt Ah, sorry.. I'm a novice and trying to figure stuff out. I appreciate the help 😊
❤❤❤
Many thanks!
Which medium ?
With medium it is much sharper and clearer.
Thanks a lot!
🙏🙏🙏
:)
2 jack septic eyes
:))
@@VizoliArt love it by the way! Thanks for showing the difference. :)
With medium cells so much nicer bigger
Thank you for the feedback! :)
Why floetrol and a sip of liquitex pouring medium? And not just one of them?
The video shows an option where I use only Floetrol. Using only Liquitex pouring medium is an option also, but that one is quite expensive. :)
@@VizoliArt at the end of the floertrol u ad a bit of liquitex
I thought Floetrol was a pouring medium anyway, am I wrong?
Floetrol is actually a Pain Conditioner, it doesn't have as much binding property then the Pouring Medium has.
Much better without the medium
Many thanks!
I think that the cause of cracking is water, not the medium, so we must reduce the water
Could be. More experiments are coming. :)
With medium you can see more clearly
Thanks a lot!
the diffence is not very big!! i think i like the one without medium a little bit more ....
because the lines are closer!
Thank you so much!
Not much of a difference between them one is darker, brighter, bigger spots!
Indeed, the difference is not that significant.
With medium better
Thank you!
W/o medium much better. Other looks more like biology than art.
Thanks! :)
I dont see any difference, in fact the one without looks better.
