The concept on non-linear editing is to lay down one track after another she bring to mind layer upon layer, audio tracks, the creativity of this woman is endless, composition, arrangement, execution, live action, improvisations, endless , really a true musical genius.
She's one of the few artists who is better live than on studio albums (there are definitely others out there but it's especially true of her).

Lose Yourself performed by Eminem feels like a desperate rally cry for a man to step up and realize his full potential. Lose Yourself performed by Vienna Teng feels like someone telling the story of a man who almost made it, but couldn't handle it, so he cut and ran. I dig that difference.

She probably practiced combining those parts extensively so that she could do it second nature live. But other elements she no doubt improvised unique to this performance.
