Canarm Industrial's are my favorite industrial ceiling fans. Unfortunately Canarm doesn't make these Industrial's anymore. They now make DC Industrial Ceiling Fans which have contoured blades instead of curved blades.

I know, I just wish they didn't discontinue it.

Industrial fans are really cool! I like the Canarm and the SMC.

How are you calculating the CFM?

6:59 They are often used in gymnasiums because the Ball won’t accidentally hit the fan

I notice that this video, though it is a store based in Canada, uses English system (US Customary system) measurement units such as feet and inches. I didn’t know Canada uses those units especially since the speed limits are expressed in km/h.

Are these speed knob controllers compatible with all canarm fans? I’m fixing to pull the trigger on a few canarm fanbos and wondering if these control knobs are compatible with them.

Do you know if you can get the metal blades for the fans? I have a unit with bent blades from a recent run in with a forklift. Let me know. We have CanArms with 23.5" blades.

We don't carry the replacement metal blades, however we would recommend checking with Canarm directly to see if they can order them for you.

@@GreggDistributorsLP Thanks I did just that. They were helpful. The blades come in a 3 pack and apparently its a common request from them.

Greetings and kind regards from a lifelong citizen of your Southern neighbors of the US!
Great video! This was very informative, especially for those who may not be as familiar with ceiling fan applications, though I myself (who am fairly knowledgeable about ceiling fans and their applications) did not realize how much of a drastic difference in CFMs between industrial and commercial fans there is! I DID know industrial fans were much more efficient and produced higher CFMs, I just did not realize what a massive difference this is!
I do have one question regarding the blades of your ceiling fans (as well as many other models of industrial ceiling fans of a similar style). My question is in regards to the upward-turned tips of the blades; Does this feature allow for wider coverage? OR is there another reason for this blade design?
    Thank you in advance!
    Kind regards from the Chicago-area!

While we don't have a technical answer for you, we would suspect that the engineering team at Canarm designed those blades to maximize performance.

Canarm as of recently no longer offers ac motor ceiling fans in the industrial style, since this one can no longer replace an older one with a new one with a system of others because the new ones do not work with solid state variable speed controls, therefore there is an isdue with compatibility because they force you to use a 5 speed dc control. This now causes an issue if you have other ac fans on the same series circuit. So is there other brands that still make ac motor industrial ceiling fans compatible with solid state variable speed controls?
