If anyone in AUS sees this. Currently the only accredited forensic science degree in the Aisa-Pacific is offered in Geelong, Victoria at Deakin University.

Definitely go for a degree in forensic science, but if that isn't available to you a degree in chemistry or possibly science of criminal justice could work. Also experience is a must, try asking your local police station about job shadowing or if they do citizen programs 😊 hope this helped!

      hy aneeta...
there are a lot of specialization in forensic too...
i mean if u want to be a toxicologist pathologist then
i would say u should do a bachelor in life science or biochemistry...and then opt for some of best masters colleges in india (govt collge would be great) for forensics science....well but in india scope for forenscis science is limited....most of our work is done by police departments itself so there are few specialisation jobs that would u get in india.....but if u really want to follow your passion go for it and so will i .....
after masters from a reputed university
u can go abroad for a job or for PhD where u will get stipend while doing a phd
or u can get a job in india but goverment job vacany in this i cant surely say....in india u can give an exan called UGC NET can after clearing the examination u are eligible for the becoming post of assistant professor and/or Junior Research Fellow in Indian govt and private universities and colleges.
wish u goodluck in whatever you pursue
