I Saw one of those for sale and they wanted 35 bucks but seemed very sketchy because controllers are nowhere to be found and on Amazon they're selling them for 80 dollars. I asked the seller if it was a real controller and I guess he was nice enough to tell me that was a knock off. I would've assumed it was a real one because of the Sony Markings but I guess I won't play my ps4 since Sony doesn't care about their customers as much.

Some of the fake ones cost almost as much as the real ones. Hows anyone supposed to know ffs?
Do they work though?
They all work but the quality is not there not to mention they last on average 1-4 the time of orginal ones before buttons stick and other issues which make them unusable
If a ps4 controller registers as a wireless controller/headset earphones on a pc does it mean its real?
some of them pair as audio or hid device. they do have a mic built into the controller if i am not mistaken.
i would have pay for the fake ps4 controller
if you lost every cable but the fake ps4 control have one
$50 on a fake let's go, thought it was a good deal
I bought one today and I hope it's not fake let's see tomorrow when it comes
Hope it’s real to
Okay so the real ones don't come with the chager or they do
They dont the short usb is only with the fakes not all fakes have them tho
My serial number on mine doesn't have any letters is this normal I have the gen 2 and am in the U.S and I bought it from walmart
I have heard of some ppl getting ones that people or employees returned to stores but is rare
bought mine at a local store trying to be nice to the man first one had a faulty R1 i returned it imediatly thinking it was a fluke he gave me a new one in exchange and it still feels wrong and it has disconected twice today the whole thing just feels wrong and i was 100% sure it was a fake this just confirmed...its a shame since i bought it for the price of a real controler
Refund and report they only work for like 40 hours they are not worth more than 20 dollars for a backup or second controller
@@westonhecker yeah i went yesterday and had it exchanged for a game of the same amount. the store owner wanted me to take another controller but i could see through the boxes they were all fakes from the stickers on the touch pad
@@westonhecker thanks for this video now i know how to quickly recognise fakes another easy way to know is the weight they are much lighter and you can see the light through the plastic at the back of the controler
yeah I got a fake one for 30$ but I mean they work good and control freaks work on them plus the back button attachment and it's really hard to find real ones but the seller said it was official but nope
They work good for about 40 hours of play. Then you have issues
1:48 😂😂😂😂
Controller with box like these is fake or original ?
The white letters are fake
Does Walmart sell authentic ones?
yeah as long as it looked like rest of the packages and was not opened. i have heard of people returning fake one tho and getting stocked in shelfs. so check the box before you buy. hope this helps
So where can I get a real ps4 controller because I just bought one from Amazon?
From sony directly is the safest bet. also it looks like bestbuy and walmart online (direct from company) not 3rd party would be the best as this inventory comes from sony stock. also it looks like sony closed most of the 3rd party chipset exploits and license model so they only have 1st party with ps5. Which will not allow cloned boards.
@@westonhecker Can a fake ps4 controller support a bluetooth to connect it in my pc
guys is it just me or if they look identical and work the same, it docent matter to me if its fake or not?
they work good for about two weeks . trust me they are not as good as oem. also when people dont know they are getting fake that is what upsets me.
