This is going to sound really odd but I'm a teacher and this is the best sound to mark papers to. Music is too distracting but silence makes me feel every single second of the job. I don't need to watch you do this (as lovely as it is) but it makes me feel like I'm not working alone. Thank you!

I love that it's not just about decorating or stickers but also writing. Because when we say journal it's actually a written journey if your life. Not just stickers and stuff. 👍
imo journaling can be many things. some people just decorate and don’t write because they’re letting out emotions or using it as an art journal. others want to track things. it’s not just one thing which is what i think makes journaling so unique
In my journal, I like writing and drawing. I don’t really use stickers much though. Currently I just write cause my journal is too small
I like the way you journal. You write a lot about your day to day life and use adequate amount of stickers. You know exactly how to use a journal. And that is exactly why i subscribed. Please keep writing.

I so agree with you, most youtubers just spread their journal with stickers and just do 1 line of writing but Gentle Nest is the only youtuber I’ve seen who actually writes in her journal

Watching your creative process really opened my mind. There are many beautiful journals like yours on Pinterest, but without the background of creation they can seem meaningless and make people think "wow this is not for me". But seeing the whole explanation, and the reasoning behind the choice of stickers and washis made me have a new vision about them and how to incorporate them in my journal without being pointless. And you still combine them with a writing style close to mine, of talking about interesting things in your day and reflecting on your thoughts and feelings, with a touch of affection and care. Beautiful. Very inspiring. I've watched the same videos over and over, I can't stop. Congratulations on the great channel, it's people like you that make youtube a great place!

you decorate and write the page and there's a personal symbolism in each one of it.
Not that it's wrong to have a journal purely for aesthetic just for fun, but I personally love journals like this.

Hello Gentle Nest! First off I’d like to say that I love your videos! The warm aesthetic is lovely and your art/creations are beautiful. I’m not sure if you are still checking your comments but I have two questions: 1. You use a sticker roll in this video which you mention yields the highest amount of stickers for the price, would you by any chance have the link where you bought those? I can’t find them anywhere! 2. Are you planning on making more videos in the future? Of course no pressure! But I just love your content and would love to see more! (In particular your journal with me videos, they are wonderful inspiration for me!)

Hi, Malia! Of course - I use Davinci Resolve (the free version). It’s a little tricky to do, but once you climb the learning curve it does a good job I think ^_^

I just spent an inordinate time looking through my order history and can’t find them 😣. I definitely got it from Aliexpress at one of my favorite stores though. So if you go to any of the stores recommended in the description I hope you will see it there! I will keep looking 🥰

I make stickers and l use it for journalling. My stickers need glue to be stuck so la m not sure if people will like it or not

Hi, Nafeesathul. I setup my iPhone on an overhead angle, then I have a Sony slr at the side angle. I have both of them recording at the same time and then edit the shots in Davinci Resolve afterwards.
