- The Shredder of Lustria Dread Saurian and the Kharibdyss received some buffs in the Total WAAAGH! Update for The Warden and the Paunch DLC, so lets have a monster mash of TEETH as the Dark Elves vs. the Lizardmen in this Total War Warhammer 2 multiplayer match.

You mentioned the poison basically giving the Slann and the Skinks a Ward save. However, you failed to mention that the Dread Saurian poisons effectively everything around it in a 100 meter radius due to its ranged attacks, which is also one of the reason why it was so hard to bring down.

I LOVE these types of videos. I have really bad anxiety.. I am not able to fight these myself against other people, so it's nice to enjoy this aspect of the content vicariously.
+Transcendancy_ that's a shame to hear, perhaps you should aspire to it... maybe try a 3v3 or 2v2 first, to minimise the focus on you? There's also a couple of good discords for TWW2 where you should be able to get some games for friendlies. Hopefully you can work it out. (y)

I love how in the final fight the Slann mage priest doesn't attack once. It just sits there on the potty and stares at Malekith in the face as the little skinks gang up on him

Gg indy, was super fun to play it with ya, watching a fat toad just demonstrate his superior girth to the king of the weedy elves was exactly what I needed. Hope to catch you again in the future.
I love how the Slaan at the end there didn't even attack, he just rode up to stare Malekith down as he was pulled under by the skinks.

Let's be honest, lorewise a black dragon would crumble from single hit of a slaan's pimp cane
Next patch. All units immediately break when the slaan menacingly hovers towards them and unbreakable units get Thanos snapped by one hit from the pimp cane.

Warhammer needs a bit more in game soundtracks, to be fair. In shogun 2's way, not Rome 2's way. R1 soundtrack being one of the most popular mods for R2 smh.
It has alot, but alot of it isn't combat music. Each faction has their own ambient theme but not a combat theme
@@transorm987 a combat theme would liven things up greatly. May be some heavy metal for orks, chaos, and viking metal for Norsca.

It is one of their best, i only take issue with the roster way too may units just feel redundant or like a worse reskin of another. Still a great game overall.

nope! but uploading/rendering in 1440p helps a lot. i dont even have a 1440p monitor, only 1080p, but upscaling the footage gives it a better bitrate and better quality on youtube

I feel like this patch they did something with breath attacks, some of my units don’t cast it instead they ether go mêle or stuck at animation:/
I've had that for a while, made me not want to play elves (imrik cured me of my problem)
So had a battle where my slann Mage was throwing a hydra all over the place...was this a bug or is this something it can legit do?
Anyone knows by what numbers your stats go down if fully fatiqued? Half armor I think and what else?

Is sniping out the slann mage priest not a better call instead of focusing the dread saurian? Or is the mage-priest too hard to snipe out?
it can be pretty hard to snipe out. has a lot of HP, has the wardsave, heals, and if you dive on it then the Dread Saurian is gona be munching on your butt

they have use in a lot of matchups, Feral Carnosaurs are one of the best Lizardmen units

11700 funds is default. It is the Large funds setting
The kharib hp pool does not match what they said it would be in the patch notes. Seems like hp went down.
they use Ultra unit size for their patch notes sometimes, I dont know why. The game is balanced around Large unit size. Its HP went up by about 800 on Large

6:52 why not collapse on the slann ?
cuz the Dread Saurian was still alive and half hp. cant really afford to abandon a full surround off on it to try and maybe kill a full hp Slann. turning my back to the Saurian with all my units is just asking to get murdered and terror routed once it lands a few attacks in the rear
At the end you would have broken tournament rules by pulling away into the air with malekith

milk did you notice kharibdyss performing better? As hydra is so good...
ive had a few great games with kharibdyss yeah. it felt pretty solid here. not a lot of kills obviously, but it was very helpful in routing things and damaging the Shredder

for awhile, drop rocks is pretty strong. its not guaranteed to one shot, but it will mess up artillery and foot archers bad

I see they still havent fixed the dread saurion being buggy with its hit box, I noticed when you got the surround on it, It kept getting knocked about. That thing should be pushing anything in its hit box.
Not sure I understand, massive creatures can still be stunned and pushed and wounded. 5 wolves can take down a full grown moose, a huge dragon and kharibdyss and a bunch of Cold Ones should definitely be able to occasionally shudder a Dread Saurian even though its larger
@@milkandcookiesTW just noticed unlike other big creatures its movement somtimes bugs out, it even did it when trying to walk through a friendly unit of skinks. Sorry I mean the animation glitching not so much game mechanics
For some reason some monsters seem to have great mass and it was a known issue with the dread saurion most likely because its model is so big.

Why do people think Dread Saurian is a meme? Against DE its not a good pick but against Bret or VC, comon. Honestly, at this point no more buffs to SEM is warrented, only nerfs.
The Lizardmen don't struggle against VC or Bret in the first place. The problem with the Saurian is that it's very situation, being good against what many consider to be the worst factions in TWW isn't very good.

@@transorm987 Very situational -- so you want to bring Dread Saurian to every MU? Talk about making an abusive unit. Balancing a super hard hitting and tanky SEM especially one that doesn''t require much micro to use is already a nightmare. And If anything, the meta should shift away from broken SE and more to the actual army. I wanna play Total War not Kaiju mash.
@@qihaoliu3631 The only way I see that changing is if CA starts changing things that contribute to large monsters being meta. Take lords for example almost every lord and hero unit usually has a horse like mount or something similar like a cold one(sometimes a flying mount) etc. And a large single entity monster like mount like a Carnosaur or dragon etc. Another thing is never to bring a lord on foot because if you decide to duel another mounted lord the one foot will get punted around like a football (there probability are other reasons why you also want to bring a mounted lord) I also don't know what would be a good fix to this as I under a foot lord being able to tank a charging dread saurian without being flung into the air doesn't seem very realistic (I know warhammer is fantasy I get the irony here.) I think if CA could make foot lords more enticing it would change up the meta.

Damn that shredder wasn’t used very well. He had little to no support. And a kharybdys shouldn’t have beaten it in melee. I’m still super iffy on the unit seems to die too fast and doesn’t do as much damage as it says on paper.
We really need WAY more good music in WH2. It's fine but man does it get old after all these hours we put in.
