@ThePreator 11 Yamamoto has actually outwitted central 46 before. During the arrancar arc he was forced to act like he wasn't going to provide ichigo any assistance in saving orihime because it was the law of the soul society that central 46 imposed but there was a loophole he was able to exploit. He knew that once ichigo and co inevitably invaded hueco mundo it would grant the gotei 13 permission to invade hueco mundo and "retrieve" them but in actuality it was used to both eliminate the arrancar AND keep them safe. It was a little plot point at the start of the arc. They made yamamoto seem like a dickhead and then it was revealed he was actually planning on helping all along.

Lets make this clear. Even Aizen admitted he would get clapped by Yamamoto, therefore he had to use the hogyuko create Wonderwise. That is Wonderwise whole reason for existing, to negate Yamamoto's power. So to sum it up Aizen used the Hogyoku to negate Yamamoto's power cause he is too strong for Aizen.

true. rukia had no choice but to use her body to block the hollow because ichigo went straight ahead. this is like some dumb but totally understandable mistake. and rukia literally takes a lot of time just to unleash her shikai alone. even its attacks need prep time. same thing when she uses kidou. she needs to do the incantation first. so she literally had no option but to just physically block the hollow with her body.
No, Rukia was losing her power back then due to Urahara's gigai, which drained her power to make her human anyway.

And he did all this AFTER absorbing the power of his OWN Zanpakuto(the strongest fire type ever), which is basically like absorbing the power of the sun.

@@ChickenLoverGamer bro honestly, Aizen was just a lonely character trying to find an equal that he could go all out with, basically just someone who he could challenge with his philosophy. You'll see something similar take place in the Fullbring arc, where the main villain of that arc was a substitute soul reaper just like Ichigo but unlike Ichigo he turned against the soul society after finding out that they were monitoring him and he fought with Ichigo using Ichigo's powers but with a different philosophy than what Ichigo had. If you don't believe me (or Aizen lol) then just read the manga. And I get why you would think it makes no sense cause I thought so at first but after reading the manga once more I finally got it, the author of Bleach is way too underrated for the superb writing skills that he possesses and I really do hope they do the final arc justice once it's animated because if it is animated correctly then there is no doubt in my mind that it will be one of, if not, THE best anime of the decade

The blast that Yamamoto stopped with his body from his own power and flames would have engulfed an area many times that of Karakura town easily. Despite that, and despite this being his Shikai charged for that long, Yama managed to survive something much stronger than his own base power, so he's far more durable than he's strong (at least with Shikai). We already saw his Bankai. His doing nothing but having it turned on is already a danger to the entire world. No techniques, no nothing, the mere presence and enormity of his power is a danger to the world itself. None of the 3 Kage have anything even approaching that, not even Hashirama.

Note many of the captains (including Yamamoto) did not use their bankai, mainly because they are too strong and would have killed most people around them.
only yamamoto's bankai is usable against aizen but it will literally burn the real world. other bankais like shunsui, kisuke, hirako, and even unohana would just be useless because they wouldn't know if what they're fighting is actually aizen. yamamoto's bankai would obliterate the whole place up so even if aizen uses his shikai, he would not escape the bankai unless he opens a portal and went straight to another dimension.
Unfortunately, these guys have been expecting everyone in the Gotei 13 to use Bankai , or they confused Bankai & Shikai; slandering the names of Rukia, Kenpachi, Yamamoto, etc. U_U

for people that may be a little bit confused, Yamamoto is stronger than Aizen before he fused with the hogyoku, once he fused Aizen became stronger, and even if he wasn't stronger he wouldn't lose to him because of the hogyoku
If Yamamoto went all out the hogyoku would've eventually rejected him like it did when he fought Ichigo.

Yeah you cannot compare Old man Yama to the 3rd Hokage at all. Two fights with totally different circumstances. They use swords to fight in this anime and he wasn’t even able to use his weapon, instead defeated his opponent barehanded without pulling out all his tricks. What’s makes it worse he didn’t even release his sword. On the other hand, the 3rd Hokage used every trick he had to defeat Orochimaru which costed him his life.
Yamamoto figured out aizen weakness and how to defeat his hypon power just by experience if ichigo left when he told him to leave it would have been over for aizen
