She highlights that these programs have become standard practices in the US and the EU to ensure customer security.
Microsoft runs a Bug Bounty program that pays out roughly $13 to $14 million per year to over 350 researchers, with awards ranging from $500 to $250,000 per report. They have partnered with almost 10,000 researchers in total.
