My belt arrived today. I have been diagnosed and treated with steroid injections. The injections work but wear off. Acupuncture helped some. The belt did provide immediate relief. It usually feels like I'm being stabbed with a knife in the SI joint. The relief was immediate.

I don’t know if you read these on older videos, but thank you so very much! I’m crying watching this. I’ve just been diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos later in life even though I’ve had major issues since I was a kid. I’ve been bed ridden for 3yrs because of complications/multiple unnecessary surgeries & I use to be extremely active & was a certified yoga instructor before I had to stop working because I was in so much debilitating pain. Now that I’ve been properly diagnosed w/ EDS I’m finally getting the ball rolling on getting proper help. I truly think I’ve deteriorated my body from yoga w/o knowing about EDS. I pushed all my limits because I’ve always seen myself as a weak person who had to prove myself & not someone who has a medical disability. I’m so glad I found your video. This really clarified that it’s my ligaments that are the issue & the relief of knowing I won’t weaken my muscles if I use one of these is beyond words! I’m so scared of doing more damage to my body & so many doctors I’ve seen aren’t familiar with EDS and have done more damage. I wish there were more people like you in the medical field. You have no idea how much this means to a lot of us. Thank you!!!❤️

The belt is extremely helpful when you want to prevent further injuries and provide stability during exercises. I wish I had seen this video earlier as it explains the proper alignment of the belt on your body to maximize the effectiveness of such. I truly appreciate this video.

Unbelievable there is such help for si joint sufferers. I'm in the VA system and I have yet heard anything about si treatment. Been in the VA system now for 19 years here in NE Florida, complaining about the same cronic issues ever since. 5 years ago, they discovered my dysfunctional si joint. Since nothing had been done about it, I'm now in my wheelchair because I've been unable to walk with a cane for years now. i would love to have one of those belts, as the VA appears clueless about them or about injecting me. At least they tell me my mri shows no problems with my back. So I wonder why I have significant neuropathy in my left leg, and they no longer issue opiods for the ridiculous pain. You would think Vets would have better care instead of crippling us. Sorry the tangent. The VA does this to me. Thank you for this informative video, greatly appreciated.

One thing you do not mention is that the Serola Sacroiliac Belt has rubber backing and a large number of people, perhaps 10% of the population, are allergic to the latex in rubber, and end of with rashes and welts on their skin. Also, many people are also allergic to the chemicals used in making rubber, and are allergic to the rubber for this reason as well.

I have EDS and awful coordination and shoulder problems and while the serola is INCREDIBLE when I put it on right… I can almost never put it o. Right without assistance and end up hurting my arms. I’ve found some broader ones that cover more of the lower back and have more sacral padding and lace that I know don’t provide as much stability and compression, but they’re a good backup for days where my pains bad enough even a waistband from pants hurts, let alone this. The proprioceptive feedback from them helps me calm down and relax even if they’re more hugging my pelvis than properly stabilizing it.
I wish I lived with someone who could put the dang thing on for me, lying on a table and having someone who knows what they’re doing position it would be so convenient!!
(Plus I’m autistic so my sensory and motor issues are a mess, and I can NEVER regulate tension. Knitting, thing my shoes, massage, compression gear…. Everyone says “snug not tight” but I have no idea what that means. Once again I really gotta recruit a patient friend to adjust this stuff for me lol)

I get pain in my right lower back every time I exercise legs, or lean down to pick up something, even sitting sometimes feels annoying.
