I've never been a Halloween person. Even as a kid I tolerated it but I hated dressing up. But now I spend an hour with the kids walking around the neighborhood begging for chocolate. The streets are quiet so it's safe and there's lots of other kids out with their parents. Their school also does a trunk or treat the weekend prior.
I’m more of a birthday person myself. It’s a self centered and random holiday as it obviously isn’t set on a day for the whole world. Doing a documentary on the history of celebrating birthdays I appreciate the lore of it. That being said, holidays like Christmas and Halloween, the excitement fades as we get older but I still enjoy the fact that it switches up the mundane days with something different. My neighborhood is safe too but there’s the “rich” part of town where everyone goes to trick or treat instead of the old part of town where I live. Jokes on them. I always buy full size candy bars to give out. Lol
Oh yeah, those are on my list, I just haven’t seen them yet! Yeah they call it haunted apple I think and have an apple spice taste which I’d love. When I find them, I’ll grab a few for both of us!

Speaking of Halloween themed snacks, have you seen the new Beetlejuice themed fanta sodas? Aparently they are apple flavor.
