I disagree with the S+ order. I think based on how easily replaceable the commanders are Scipio and Nevsky are 1 and 2 respectively. For example, you can pair Nevsky with any Cav commander even down to Khan, and Nevsky will make that pair good. Joan P, on the other hand, needs to be in a good pair to shine. Of course, when you put her with Nevsky she looks S++ but Nevsky is giving her the tankiness and the stats to allow her to do her thing. Similarly, Scipio P will make any Inf commander he's paired with look good. (Edit: I forgot about Zhuge Liang. He's definitely up there. I don't have him maxed yet but his Kit looks insane)
Totaly agree and that easy to see that. Joan prime is overated. She is good because of nevsky. Imagine joan prime with XY, William, she s gona be melted and first target in the game.
ZL is 1. This isn't even up for debate.
@@aohige This comment was really early after ZL was released and I did update it the same day I wrote the comment to include him. My issue was with the video having Joan P above Nevsky and Scipio. ZL is absolutely number 1 followed by Scipio and Nevsky. But I completely forgot about him when writing the original comment. He was just released and haven't used him in KVK yet.
@@aohige he is not. Scipio prime is best comander for sure. He have AOE, speed, big damage, a lot of stats. You can pair him with anyone and he is good.

I'd rather have a more versatile comander as if you need 1 comander to really get alot out of a tower it's not worth getting first nevsky is able to be used alone or with other comanders and that just adds buffs some being better but imagine a cao cao and you saved for season 3 like nevsky it's able to hold out untill Joan or other calv

In SoC CC is still used for forts, barbing, and even ruin fighting when speed is crucial. In the latter scenario, CC are super annoying when you are trying to capture dark ruins (ie spring of Ra) and enemies running multiple CC all over the square. I would put him in “specialized” category since CC are also used in the ark

Honestly, best advice is to not invest into anything once S2 starts and just save up for S3 so you can start on SoC. I'd advise against even investing into Alex as he only has use in S2 and then falls off instantly now.

I like that some someone is giving hera some open field love. I've been messing around with him to add tankiness to glass cannon marches. His shield can eat a whole skill and 30% health is no joke. I'm using zl hera in canyon and it literally never dies and in the field even if focused it eats so much damage I can murder people with my other marches. Highly underrated for sure
ppl most sleep on hera kit.. i disagree at first not until facing someone genius using him on canyon

And he just guarrison. He sucks openfield. To slow and low damage and hard to pair him when you have better option

I'm glad that I didn't spend any universal head on either sargon and tariq; as the old saying that inf is always one gen behind, I'm expecting 8th gen to be as good as Joan or Zughe Liang and I will pair with Scipio P.

Yeah that's honestly probably true. Infantry is great early game and then basically is just garrison meta late game unfortunately. I hope that changes though since they're inherently at a disadvantage with a slower march speed
I’m saving heads for next infantry, too late to switch for me with all the infantry legendary gear Including two specialized rings

Hello brother, so if you have 2 goalie pairs in the open field, which ones would you recommend?
My archer gear is only epic, so should I put gold heads into Boudicca P. or Zhuge ( I can exp. 1 and get the other to 5521 maybe) or do I exp. Nevsky and Scipio P.? I have 7 leg. pieces on my inf. and 4 pieces on my cav. march.
I'm a new player and a spender. Kingdom has been only 3 days old and I'm dominating in my region with my already expertised Mina (lvl45) paring with CaoCao lvl 20.
However, I've been wondering how marches work ? Like Mina/CC is a cav march, but do I have to put only Cavalry units in it or does mixed work too?
Right now, I don't have enough cavalries to fill up the troops capacity of Mina 🥲 Hence I've to fill it up with infantries and archers

I'm struggling to decide whether to use Scipio Prime expertise in open field with Alex 5551 or Mehmed 5522 both have max museum buffs, any suggestion?
i would prefer alex over mehmed but might be depends on what your liking.. mehmed has aoe while alex has inf kit + buff/debuff enemy
Scipio + Mehmed is better i think. Alex will give you additional march speed whic is very useful for infantry especially during escaping
Definitely getting some value with martel/sun tzu in the first month of my kingdom even more so in the champions of olympia since all troops are equal I'm literally going against 3 marches and still destroying them hahaha

I got Guan/Scippy, Boudi/ZL and Nevsky/joan. As a low low spender those are the only commanders I will be spending GHs on for the next two years. If those are done I'll be well equipped to be a menace on the battlefield.

Ysg is great but I’ve stopped using him since boudica was released , he’s just a bench warmer and now with zhuge I have benched artemisia as well
Yeah I think they're still great if you run more than 1 archer march but otherwise, Boudica/Zhuge is the way to go I think

Henry is definitely S+, for a rally commander he is exceptional in both open field and garrison. He is tanky and deals more or less the same amount of damage as Boudica, has instant proc, march speed, normal attack manipulation. Boudica definitely has the better active skill but Henry has better overall kit.
I think he's very good but not the same as the S+ commanders. One of his skills doesn't do anything for open field fights, yet the rest of S+ has every skill doing something in open field. For rallies, Henry is S+ no question for sure.

I'm not an archer main but just based on skills, I can't see how you have Henry lower than Art. Nebu....maybe. A maxed Nebu is better than an maxed Henry for open field but if you're building on a budget, I think 5511 Henry is really, really good. 2300 nuke, 30% skill damage reduction for 5 seconds and 20% attack, defense & march speed. 5511 Henry primary and maxed Zhuge Liang I think could be seriously broken for a cheap price.
Henry is lower than Art because of Boudica Prime honestly hahaha that pairing makes Art much more common and probably better tbh. Henry doesn’t have AoE like Art does, and she has a nice buff + defensive stats. Honestly they’re both very good for different reasons and I can see why some might put Henry higher

That's a really tough choice to make... I think probably Zhuge but I would hoard some sculptures for a few weeks to see how he does with more testing.
I'm surprised El Cid isn't in F tier to be honest. Even as an Archer main I ignored his mge. Also he is MGE which means you do not want him even more because of how early he comes you have to spend to get him anyway cause you fighting against whales who don't care that he's useless. His MGE's are all during kvk so they cannot be fixed.
Unless you are a mega whale essentially you will never use El Cid.

Minamoto is better late game for sure. I wouldn’t use any universal sculptures on Caesar, there are much better places to use them

Depends... if you plan to run 2 or more archer marches in Season of Conquest then you probably can still get great use out of YSG. If you plan on only using 1 archer march, that march should be Boudica Prime/Zhuge Liang so... if you can be patient and save, I'd do that instead.
Hey omniarch i need ur opinion. Currently im in a s4+ kingdom and i made a ton of mistakes for example i spent 20 legendary commander sculptures on cleo only + i didn't get ysg or richard. Should i migrate to a new kingdom. I have Edward alex ramses and khan.
Ehh those aren't horrible mistakes honestly. I'd say focus on saving sculptures for SoC commanders like Boudica/Zhuge and Nevsky/Joan

That's true, but just because somebody has 1 replacement doesn't mean they're bad now. He's still super strong

You can pair (Zhuge lian/YSG) together. And see the damage.

@@MC_Tacos_OUI even if targetted, there is a comparison 1 minte video on the channel of (Richard Riddik) in which five marches swarm your archer march and he compared ( Boudica/YSG) ,(Boudica/ZGL) and (ZGL/YSG) . The third cause more damage to enemy troops and got nearly the same damage as other marches.

I swear they do the non-legendaries so dirty in this game 😭 Once you start to get decently far into the game there is literally no justification for using any commander that isn't legendary. There's already so much depth between all the gold characters in the game that any character that isn't gold is instantly below F tier. I hope they do something to make the non-legendaries more viable in the future

Eventually you’re going to want to expertise ZL so I’d say do that first and test it with YSG. If you find that ZL/YSG is too slow or too weak then start investing in Boudica, she’s very good at 5551.
