I believe they were being honest. Even when the GOP Congressman asked them if they knew what the impeachable offense that Donald Trump committed, they were honest. Their answer was complete silence. That moment right there just about summed up the entire scam. Can we put this one to bed now too? Or do we need to let it drag on for another 2 years like the Mueller scam?

There ya go, Abby. I think you finally got it. I am nearly 70 years old and this is the very first time I've been truly afraid of the person in the Oval. Growing up and on into adulthood, I might have had favorites in the Presidential race, but never-ever worried if The Other Side was elected. I knew, to the bottom of my little toes that no matter Republican or Democrat, the United States would be safe. In the end the right things would be done. Our democracy would thrive in spite of any particular person or party.
I felt this way right through the first shock of trump actually being elected, because checks and balances would protect us from the crud he promised with his relentless rhetoric. Right? Or there would be enough babysitters to keep him in line. Right?
But then he installed the cabinet foxes to watch over all the henhouses, like the EPA. He brought in people like Bannon and gave security clearances to his family.
For three years now I have been terrified, and angered, to the point where it's affected my health.
It will take the rest of your life and maybe the rest of your children's lives to claw our way back to where we were before this guy tore everything apart. At least you and your family didn't have your lives ruined-- your dad got out just in time.
So many good people have lost their careers and way too many found out they have feet of clay, because they are too terror stricken to do the right thing. I've hated seeing this happen. We as a nation are changed and it's not for the good.

At the end of the day, the Trump administration still has not released the actual transcript of the call. If the administration would do this, there would be much more clarity on what actually went on on that call. The fact that it continues to conceal the transcript speaks volumes about Trump's guilt.
