I have used both ,, Wheels (more easy to maneuver faster in transit from site to site.) Tracked , "Can be set in digger mode to force the scraper bar to scrape down to the surface ,, if you deal with trying to remove heavy packed down dense snow like the stuff pushed off a roof its astounding how much more tractive force the tracks can achieve .Tracked is slow when moving from site to site but it will crawl over stuff that will leave you wrestling with wheeled machine to get it unstuck.
Wheel vs Tracks - each have their place. I had a wheeled blower but living in a northern snow belt with snow from November to May, it doesn't handle heavy accumulations and inclines well. The tracked blower cannot be stopped by terrain, and the HSS1332 has handle mounted steering so thats a must. The only way I'd get rid of my 1332 is for a 1336.

I just bought a 2022/23 Ariens Platinum 24 SHO (wheeled, w/ the 369cc engine) and I'm looking forward to next year. It should kick the crap outta my now-retiring 1980 ST824. That said, DANG, those Hondas have throw distance like nothing else. Impressive!

For that amount of snow the wheeled unit did the job just fine. For 2 feet of snow, the tracks would be better. If I could pick, I'd take wheels over tracks, unless I was on unpaved, steep surfaces

Tracks save your back when the going gets rough. It will stay down and eat straight through the heavy slough from the road and wind packed drifts that will stop a wheeled machine or cause it to climb the snow.
That is a good point. I was just coming out the garage so this was easiest for me. My neighbor on the left is too close to me so I can’t throw it that way. It be all in her driveway. So can only shoot it to the right. Thanks for watching
2 things about your hounda hss928. You need to re jet the carburetor for maximum power. Also your shute have that calor, it will plug with the wet snow call honda and they will send you a new one for free.
What are you talking about the Shute with the collar, please explain? How have you know that Honda USA will send a new Shute without the collar for free replacement? Do they ship it for free? Thanks

I have a cub 3x 26 do a lot of yards I love it by me cuz I have alot of deep snow. I plow thew it in 6th gear almost up to bucket hight Anyways I was looking at the honda weeled 28" then the 32 trac, I want to like the trac but just can't, all the quick moving around. How do u like the weeled model model? But I'm also looking at the cub cadet 3x 30" pro. Or the 34pro. Idk what u think of that honda

It’s built within and hidden. The old one had a side compartment where you could see the liquid level. New one, they removed this.
