I live in Washington, I've seen sunbows, moonbows and rainbows hundreds of times out here too, there haven't been storms after any of them as far as I can remember. Our weather is really tame north of the Seattle area.
They're really pretty though, I've always loved seeing them, we have some beautiful weather phenomena out here sometimes, we even had a day where the cloud cover was completely uniform and flat, with no swirls or dips all the way to the horizon in all directions. But what was even more notable was the sunset coming underneath it that turned the entire world red, like _red_ red, the sky was red, the ground was red, my body was red, the streets were red, the trees were red, it was *_red._* I've never seen anything like it before anywhere not even online. I had a video and pictures of it but they got lost when my my phone puked its guts out😒.

The slayer halo isn’t bad at all. It’s just a harmless rainbow that forms a normal rainbow, but just around the sun. It forms when crystals in the solar system get close to earths water reflection, and forms a rainbow around the sun.

I live in MN, we are at the top of Tornado Alley & get many big ones a year. I would always tell people that it gets very still & the sky turns green when one was near. Everything you see has a green cast- If you see it , it is NOTHING to be enjoyed from inside. It means a big one is coming.
Nobody ever believed me, especially my husband. He was from LA & never saw it. One year, when we moved back to MN, he finally saw it get very still & very green. There is no shame & nothing to be embarrassed about when you take shelter. Better safe than sorry.
I don’t really worry about the weather- until the skies turn green. Entire towns have been destroyed & lives have been lost cuz there is not much tie between seeing the green & disaster.
Oh yes, I know. It is true. I believe you. 🌪🌪🌪
I actually saw this Sun Halo ( ring around the sun ) like 5-6 months back , and our teachers told that it is an optical phenomenon that happens every 400 years .

I know this is late, I've seen some pretty big wall clouds, directly AFTER a tornado, surprisingly, we were at a shelter at a school and once we were out onto the bus, they told us to not touch the windows, in case lightning strikes. I looked out the window for a sec and there was a weird cloud. "Huh thats weird." And it went on for I think 3 crop fields, later I heard my friend's dad saw it too.

It's that way with the moon during the winter season. A ring around the moon is just signs of moisture in the atmosphere.

I knew immediately why it showed that. However, I can tell you this right now: you don't need to find shelter asap. These in most cases show up 24-48 hours before the actual storm arrives, assuming it even hits you. Now, in some cases, it may arrive up to 8-12 hours before it, but even assuming that, you don't need to find shelter asap.
Thanks!

If you live in a place with high enough humidity, those halos are actually incredibly common. Nearly every night has Moon Rainbows, and I’ve seen Sun Rainbows without there being a storm coming-or at least not for MY area. We call those rainbow rings, sun dogs where I'm from. They happen dozens of times per year. They are not signs of disaster. They actually come out on exceptionally cold days where you don't need to look up to know how cold it is.
We call those halos, nodes where I'm from. They, all 6 of them are attached to the sun and ecliptically rotate the accelerator. They actually are part of Ezekiel's Wheel. The halo around the sun is actually looking into the projector. Don't look up.
