Forgive me people it took a huge amount of effort to post this video.. Half the time the computer would not boot.. its a brand new system..I was running off solar only and had very limited time editing. Hope everyone enjoys..
Hey Michael, I really enjoyed seeing Nassau with you. It really is sailing content because that’s how you got there! I’d love see places the way you do. Thanks for your effort to post this! Lock your stuff up, including your dingy. R/ Jim Grigsby Virginia Beach, Va
You should visit Freeport also watchinv ur vids made me sed more places in my country i havent even seen yet 😅 I have been in the capital more than 5 times but i havent been all over. I wanted u to visit Freeport since thats the city where i live
The ghettos is apart of Nassau and you are upset of him showing that part then that is a personal problem. Do I like it? No! But he is showing a part that is well hidden. Also other countries of sides they don't want you to see doesn't mean it can't be sahred.
The very first line of this video is. Yes he bought a boat in Ontario but no hell no thousands of degrees no, did he not fix it up enough to go on the epic adventure we have all watched for the past year and a half 90% of the videos are of him fixing something that has broken on his boat or that he has personally fucked up and created a situation for himself This is not a sailing channel This is a channel saying what not to do if you ever own a boat Number one being educate yourself and prepare for every voyage This would’ve solved 70% of his issues
Constantly fixing and improving your boat is boat life. And that's exactly what lots of people want to see. Dealing with these problems as they arise is what makes a good sailor. Don't be a hater, it's not a good look
At least I untied the line and left the dock. I guess on your 3000nm journey, nothing went wrong. The only difference is I had the balls to post my mistakes for all to learn from. I have no sailing skeletons in my closet. I bet if I met you would be a real Captain! Pro sailor right? Give me a break your comment is smug. At least I tried. Fill us in on your journey where nothing went wrong and you didn't have to learn any lessons on next to zero budget and posted it for all to see..
Point was clearly lost on my post. At no point that I not say mistakes or problems or breakdowns never occur on a boat. Anybody that owns a boat deals with these issues my point you seem to have 1000 times more of them and often times they’re brought on by you not being prepared for the journey ahead or your boat being prepared for the journey ahead, Learning from the mistakes is part of life however it seems you don’t learn very well and tend to repeat your mistakes Best of luck on your journey north
@thecroftericmiller496 good point. Maybe I need to take stock. If I just had another 5 k my trip north would be so much better.. but for now it's rice and beans and not running the engine burning diesel.. appreciate your words mate..
@sailingEV888 That hurt me knowing that. I mean, I've literally got angry like it happened to me. I wish there was more policing on the services over here. I thought you would have gotten the best, seeing you were with the locals. You should have caught the bus with a local and sat on it until it went straight around the island. Bus fees in Nassau are $1.75. In Freeport, you could send up to $15 because of the size of the island. If you catch a number 10a, you will go out west, I live out west. All buses intersect downtown. So if you go around on 3 buses you could see the whole island. $1.75 x 3.
I'm not sure. All I know is that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. Yes I flew home to work to make enough money to make these videos. But I don't have an address. The company I work for puts me in hotels when I'm in Canada. My heart is here. This is where I live.. I will sail around the world one day. Somehow, I will make it happen..

At Costco, you can get a 36 pack of beer for $20 usd
Really!! I'm going now!
I guess you have only been to Nassau and not Freeport, Bahamas where it is clean. Nassau is not the entire Bahamas.

LOL why are you on market street?
Out of all the people in the Bahamas to show you around.. Come on this makes no sense. You are in the ghetto.
He was in the ghetto the whole video... there're much nicer places
You would be surprised how many people want to see and hang out in the hood
They do really robbing y'all. It's just $1.75 times 2 to go around the island. You would end up spending $6 to go and come max.
Maybe I was taken advantage of? That bus charged me 15$!!!!

12:16 so true. I keep preaching this knowledge yet i still find people thinking white are more sane in regards to violence.

Living onboard for 6 years ? Hmmm
This is my home since may of 2019. This is where I live..
I think what he is saying is full time live aboards don't leave there boats on the hard for months at a time. You're a snowbird. Part timer.
