- Today we're doing some plein air urban sketching with gouache, primarily looking to see if we can capture warm and cool lighting effects in addition to tonal values by using just black and white gouache paint. This is a realtime urban sketching plein air demo, so come along to learn more about painting values and plein air color theory! If you're new here my name is Danny Sabra. I am a self taught artist. I hear ya sue! I attached a little piece of Velcro to the bottom of the palette and another piece to the chip board. Works really well!
