WAR ! 1944 - says it all - BRILLIANT. Great mix of very thought provoking pictures - thanks.
Thanks for watching 🤗
The pic of exhausted marines brings home some amazing reality!
Wtf is wrong with you.
Yes. And did you notice how terribly thin they were?
They play real rough out there.
Obscene, don't send next year's seed to the gristmill. The soldiers probably hadn't seen 20 yrs
That hit home with me also I watch you tube videos of the war in the pacific and this shows how young these brave lads were they looked so gaunt and so tired that far away look in their eyes, heartbreaking
Black and white photos are the most haunting photos .
Agreed … I’m not a fan of the old ones being colorized either. Have to use one or two occasionally but I wish they would just leave them alone 👍🏻
Yes - and the piano music adds to the creepyness.
Thank you for the interisting photographies👍the world goes round and round
So thought-provoking and interesting. Great, as always. Thanks, Mark. 😊
That's amazing.... I haven't seen a single one of these photos before!
I spend hours trying to find rare ones … thank you for noticing 🤗
Thanks for this! Yes they were amazing!! 😮😅😊
Outstanding, no click bait. Exactly what you said. Some if those were astonishing, Cheers. I will be watching.
Awesome feedback… thank you for watching 🤗
Wow...just WOW!
Added to the subjects, the times, and situations, the B&W film ALWAYS adds to any photo...
I never miss your videos. They are so amazing and touching. I love your touch of humor in some of them. Keep them coming. ❤❤❤
Thank you for your very kind words 🤗
Good work! Interesting and not the same as other stories that use commonly found photos. Thank you for this.
My pleasure! I put in a lot of time researching rarer pictures. Thank you for noticing 🤗
That flume ride would be awesome!
It would have made a great ride. The flume made a brief appearence on an episode of Disney's Wonderful World of Color, and Lassie took a ride down the flume in one of "her" episodes. With the closing of the sawmill, the flume was dismantle.
FYI, a short film version of the group on its way to a wedding on the long boat is in the Oliver Stone movie "The Doors". It's part of a collection of images that was used to re-create Jim Morrison's film school submission.
But, thanks to this channel's presentation, I know exactly what THAT piece is about.
These are so interesting!!!😊
Glad you think so! 🤗
00:23 Execution by cannon - this method was common in the Great Mutiny in India of 1857 - probably by both sides. The head went flying but was relatively undamaged, while the body was obliterated.
I heard Kim did the same a few years back…
Hello from Australia
hello to you friend
I've actually seen and photographed that "George Johnson" headstone.
It's in Boot Hill Cemetery just outside of Tombstone city limits.
Poor guy.😢
At least they admitted they were wrong.....
@rattus3102
Yup. A bit too late for George, though.
That last photo of the frozen clothes, is the True, Original meaning of getting freeze dryed.
The short guy is RAMEY Allen and he was from Lee Co., KY. The arrest took place in Michigan I think.
Loved the piano😊
Thank you 🤗
Another good video of images we haven't seen 1000 times.
Many thanks for noticing ❤️… I spend hours looking for rarer ones
i read on another site that raney allen was 4ft 6 and weighed 72lb as clemmia was 5ft 8
The moustache competition photo was used by another CZcams poster with the title "Man reads news to cigar workers in Columbia", Which seems more likely.
I didn't know they had helicopters during the dinosaur's era. 😮😅😅😮
Yes, they were known as Coptersaurus
The kids car seat has come a long way😊
The Surbiton flooding picture is of Kingston upon Thames just by the station. It’s close to Surbiton though
I’m the first member of my family for 400 years not born in what is now known as the borough of Merton 🤗
Execution by cannon?!?!
RIP George Johnson 😥
I may have believed World Mustache Championship. 😄
(I wonder just how much nicotine leached into their systems???)
Double "Nope!" GPO Tower, London
So *That's how you move a dinosaur.👁 He just Would Not obey the leash! 😠 Thanks! 😄
OMGoodness! 😳 I can only imagine the rigging necessary for those Massive sails.
I'll pass on the 9 mile flume "thrill" ride. Thank you, though.
As far as the long johns, they'll loosen up. Considering you don't "stiffen up" 1st 😄
Enjoyed. Both the video, And, your playing, too. 🎶 😊
Love your comment, thanks! 😅
Raney Allen (first photo) was wanted for shooting three men, one of whom died of his injuries.

It seems like only yesterday that the Manchester United crash happened.
Although before my time Bobby Charlton was my idol growing up … and by all accounts we lost the greatest talent the world has ever known in Duncan Edwards
Second photo at 0:20, Folks, I believe y'all standing a bit Too close. When they fire that Cannon, you are gonna have Blood and Guts all over you.
I was thinking the same thing… Perhaps there was a stand back order yelled before firing
TOTALLY GROSS!
With your picture of the Victorian self-defense 3 minute mark… That’s 2 of the Marx brothers Groucho Marx, and I’m not sure who the other one is
0:09 Looks like mommy and son. 🤣
That was my first thought too
ok
BCE? lol
Those pics didn't leave a mark 😊
