Excellent Video. I have this same tiller but the tines won't turn at all. I am inspired to take the trannie apart and see if I can get it going!!

David, sorry to hear about your Stork, Prayers to you. I really did enjoy this Video. I have one and will need that info one day. I have a Question, I know you are auto guy but
my tiller just stopped. Thought I sheared a timing key on the fly wheel but. Not that. Pulled plug and hand turned over, At TDC it binds up, it will turn over but binds at TDC. What is yopu thinking. Me i think its a bent Rod. I did over Work the thing trying to do a big tiller job. Thanks for your info. keep up the videos.

Thank you, great video. Hard to find anything on disassembly of transmission. Mine had the same failure. BTW, if I wanted to replace the gear and not the gear and shaft assy., do you know where it could be gotten?
Maybe McMastersCar? Again, thank you for your help.

for me the auger gear (round disk) is chewed up. Is htat secured in anyway other than rust and friction? Sucker will not budge!

I’ve been using a torch and a chisel to try to remove my blades, still no luck. I’m afraid to see what’s going on inside once I can get there!

hows it an easy fix if you have to turn your own replacement bushings? Not many people have a lathe handy. A link to parts would have been nice as well.

the '' shim '' is there for slippage if the brass fitting turns. that way the case does not get worn out.
did not see the fitment [ assembly ] .
do better next time, and dont be a minuteman.
