While using the aem V2 standalone ECU do you need to still buy the 22 channel CAN SENSOR? Or can you wire it to the ECU. I'm on a 1991 300zx. Just got a cd5 n I'm running a V2 ECU
OUCH !!!.. PLEASE don't start the engine on a hot sensor like that. The element, inside the sensor, is made of ceramic. And it "heats up" to over 1400F !. When it gets hit with (relatively ) cold startup air, the hot elements crack, like a hoe windshield, hit with cold water. Let the engine and sensor "warm up" together :)
Great vid 👌 as usual man
see ive been wondering if you could have actual guages and have guages in use on the cd7
About to get ready to get started on kswap but I'm scared and lost 😨 hopefully I get enough help with friends
