As a long-time subscriber, I'm glad you got to enjoy the girls' comeback and share it with us. Jisoo and Rosé bridges were simply amazing, and between Jennie's opening verse and rap in Pink Venom... Ready For Love was actually first heard in their netflix documentary. Of course fans wanted them to release it until they didnt and there were several leaks. Now they released it as a song PUBG mobile game ☺

The instrument at the beginning is a Geomungo. Its a traditional korean instrument. And yes JISOO learned and played it for this 💕
I'm so happy you noticed the Rihanna sample. They actually referenced a lot of old hiphop songs and even incorporated a lot of early 2000's looks from Aliyah and TLC. The dances arent too obvious but it combines steps from each of their solos 🥰
the chorus is growing on me... the first time i don't really like the chorus but now i'm obsessed... it reminds me of Pussycat Dolls song... 😍

Hey, good to see you're back. They won a VMAs award for RFL, they performed Pink Venom, and Lisa bagged Best kPop for Lalisa. And Pink Venom's dance practice MV is their best to date.
Still to this day, I can't get Rosé opening verse in RFL out of my head(lol). It just sounds so good! And the outro with her and Jisoo harmonizing 😊
PV is still a bop for me! I love the progression of the venom spreading as the song goes on! Like as if you were infected by posion. It also perfectly describes Blackpink's concept so well imo!
Oh and if you ever get to watch the dance practice for PV on your own time, what I loved most about it was how it highlights each members' style very well. Also the fact that Jennie, Rosé and Lisa incorporated one move from each of their solo songs into the choreography! And though Jisoo didn't have her own move to incorporate, she still had her own moment to shine here and there ❤️

A lot of hate, negativity, petty drama and fights for streams and views. This is because of many immature or young people being obsessed with groups and acting like they own them because of the way the industry is marketing the groups. I agree with you. I like the more tone-down chorus because the intro, prechorus & everything are already intense. I feel like if they make the chorus intense as well, it might turned out to be messy. Don't know why people are hating this song because of the chorus though.
The geomungo or hyeongeum, is a traditional Korean plucked zither with both bridges and frets. Geomungo is a representative stringed instrument made in Goguryeo before the 5th century.
