Gabe is such a likable and genuine person. The type of person you’d like to have in your corner. First heard about him when he pulled 1000lbs at one of the giants live shows. Seeing Gabe and Brian together has definitely allowed me to see the type of person Gabe is and I gotta say, Gabe is a person I’ll be rooting for from now on.
He's the real deal. Getting to chat with him for a few minutes last year at the Shaw Classic made me an instant fan.

I'll be cheering for you either way. I have to say too seeing your 1000lb hummer tire dead lift was the most fun I've ever seen someone having doing something so incredibly hard!

What a great podcast guys. Really looking forward to seeing you further progress in Strongman Gabe, as an Argentinian I remember being so happy to hear that a latino was going to be in WSM that year, I'm sure you really inspired many there, and that you will continue doing so. Also, I didn't know about you academic background, so neat hearing you talk about that, that analytical approach also resonated a lot with me (paleontologist here). Keep moving forward man!

The crazy part to me is how it wasn’t really until his sophomore/junior year at college when he started to seriously train and put weight on the bar, and yet only a few years later is one of the strongest men in the world. Crazy to see how far hard work can get you in such a short period of time
I am the same way with Gab. Born in a state with mountains and high vantage points and living in Houston nearly all my life now, I need a break from flat ground lol.

34:28 "Dorian Yates." --- Yes, he knew and was influenced by Mike Mentzer, also an elite bodybuilder. Mike has the High Intensity Training, HIT, approach. He was the "thinking man's bodybuilder". That's the idea of training to failure. He also had a tremendous physique.

I’m loving this new schedule. Working out with awesome strong men and then getting them on the podcast. Can’t wait till Eddie Hall gets their. Now that restrictions are getting pulled back hopefully that will be sooner rather than later. After his fight of course. Maybe a few days after his fight if Eddie wins in a dominant fashion and is injury free. Eddie cannot be in the states and not make a video with Brian.
