This is smart zebra crossing using atmega8 microcontroller. It will close the gate after perticular time and start the zebra crossing . It will reduce the accident happening due to raod crossing. This is good concept for the final year project of the technical students and for others too.

2 geared dc motor for zebra rotation,
1 atmega 8 microcontroller (arduino also may be used instead of atmega 8),
1 motor driver ic L293D,
4 led for trafic signal (2 red , 2 green),
1 switch,
1 battery 4 volt,
wires and themocol
