Connor Holden they wont post any more at 9pm
Gotta love that people like Mr.Perfect,Bret and Owen Hart,Shawn Michaels etc. were considered "small" in WWE world.
Justsomeguy lol all of them are, above average height.
Justsomeguy HBK is about 6' 1", which is smaller than Hogan, Warrior, Andre, etc
Perfect was 6' 3"
Owen was 5' 10
TyV Vulpintaur Mr. Perfect was 6'3?!
AZK91 according to Wikipedia anyway. And if you watch the match between him and Bret Hart at 1991 Summerslam, he is a little taller than Bret who is 6' 0".
Well, Owen was a small guy. Everyone else is just average height to today.
"How much does dis guy weigh?" - Art Donovan on 600-pound Yokozuna
Damn Piper was looking ripped here!
Matt Combs One could even say that he looks real jacked?
Baby?
Matt yes he was
That’s what I thought!
Maybe the best shape I remember and he was over 40
My favorite referee was Mark Curtis from WCW before he passed away. His reactions to people getting slammed and pounded on were so great. And then there was the time he rear naked choked a fan who came into the ring who was larger than him, and even Bobby Heenan was like, "That guy just got taken down by the worlds smallest referee."
do all royal rumbles like wrestlemania
The Cam Doyle In January should be good to do that
I had no idea Joey Marella was dead. I remember on commentary how Jesse Ventura would over-complain that he was a poor official, to get a rise out of Gorilla Monsoon (Marella's actual father).
Harvey Wippleman AKA Downtown Bruno was also in the car at the time. According to him Marella fell asleep at the wheel.
adoptive father
Hearing Plumpy with this is just satisfying.
shut up.
Indeed. #PushPlumpy
My favorite ref was Teddy Long. Holla' Holla' Holla' Playa'.
My favorite is Little Naitch, Charles Robinson.
Jacob Collver my favorate is bill alfonso Charles teddy & danny
WWF magazine was a big thing among my friends and I at school from around 1989 until 91/92. I liked it!!
Roddy Piper was still in amazing shape at 40. RIP - He should've won the WWE Championship
Nice vid Adam
don't disrespect big poppa pump like that
Kona Kai Big Poppa Pumped full of Roids
I used to have a subscription to WWF magazine. Remember the Flair/Miss Elizabeth photos?
I think they will do 1995 next
Sniper ViperZz thanks smartass I had no idea
I read WWF Magazine! I read it for years!
u didn't get any pooo-say during those, did you!?!?
Not sure which is the bigger question from this PPV:
1. Why Piper-Lawler was the main event?
2. Why anyone in 1994 thought Art Donovan was relevant, popular, or otherwise mattered at all for guest commentary on a PPV?
My favorite ref currently is Charles Robinson.
Jinder could beat both Okada and Omega in a 2 on 1 match and get 10 stars on his own
ThePhantomKnight24 Jinder = 🐐
YES!....Finally. Been waiting on this to continue.
Damn....I miss Owen (the REAL KING OF HEARTS) things will never be the same in the ring.
I used to read those WWF magazines when I was like 10. Loved them!
Yo Plumpy I really really really want to buy one of your magazines but to get it shipped to the states is like $22s and I ain't paying that kind of money not even for you.
Mikayla Moss blame the Royal Mail. Their prices are insane!
Is there a place where I can find all these theme songs for WCPW ippvs?
Because damn, some of them are really good.
I remember as a kid having a subscription to the magazine and seeing a few inconsistencies like that one mentioned in the video. I never really thought much about it when I was a kid, though.
Adam, when are you being Adam again?!
His name will forever be Plumy
Ethan Randolph He'll need to win a match to end this Plumpy gig.
He shouldn't have agreed to or suggested that bet in the first place (not sure if it was his idea or not). The idea behind bets like that is that losing said bet results in momentary humiliation. It's not supposed to result in something life changing. It was a dumb bet, a stupid idea, and both Adams were stupid to agree to it
A 4 year old me is featured in that WWE magazine with Bret Hart "winning the gold" in the fan fest section.
That's me at the 11 second mark in the white/red Texas Tornado shirt. Thanks for the quake-burger memory.
Last time I was this early Plumpy was Adam like he should be called
Shaoor Shamsi who?
Shaoor Shamsi who's Adam
The Broken One the Parmesan one
Does it matter?
yes because shaoor shamsi decides what people should be called, not the person who the name actually belongs too
I used to be a fan
Now im an air conditioner
Kurt Freakin angle you sir, deserve all the likes.
That used to be original
Now it's not!
you suck you suck you suck you suck you suck you suck
oh it's true it's damn true
Kurt Freakin angle just the fact that you have that as your CZcams name and you posted this makes you the internet winner for the day! Have a cookie and a W!
I'm a Charles Robinson fan myself. I grew up watching Smackdown in the mid 2000s, and I'll never forget lil' natche.
Gotta say Ruddy looked pretty damn good at 40
I used to get WWF Magazine around this time. The posters were pretty good.
Talking about favorite refs and leaving out Nick Patrick & Tim White is wild. Tim White has some big time moments and hilarious stuff later on.
Finally Plumpy thank you!!!
when I was a kid I had a subscription wwe mag I got an issue with Chris Jericho's return on the cover the day before that raw when he came back lol
I can only imagine the horrors from the next King Of The Ring PPV.
Oh my God, King Of The Ring 1995 was one of the worst PPVs this company has ever made.
Yeah, it was horrendous, the only half decent match was Bret and Jerry Lawler
Damn, that's probably the best Piper ever looked.
I had a WWE Magazine subscription for a while, about 2008-2012. It was actually kinda neat.
Oh, and personally, my favorite ref is Charles Robinson.
I used to read WWE magazine every month. I even bought Raw and SmackDown Magazine and read every issue.
Everytime I see Earl Hebner all I can think about is that referee match in the Invasion story...god that was hilarious to watch.
I used to read the magazine.
When I was a kid we didn't have Sky so it was the only way to keep up to date with wrestling.
I'd forgotten about Piper Vs Lawler. It stank out the building so bad.
What Culture isn't so bad, they don't deserve the bad wrap the neckbeards give.
finally they did another one of these
WhatCulture should do facts about all the royal rumble, survivor series, and summerslam
This was my only VHS as a kid for a while untill somebody braught me rampage 92 😂😂😂 and that was it right up untill wcw was on channel 5 in the UK 😂😂
it was scott who lost to IRS
1994 is not the only year that is bad for vince but it is 2017 RAW
the wrestlemania 31 magazine spoiled that Kevin Nash was going into the hall of fame 2 weeks before it was actually announced
Owen vs 1-2-3 kid was awesome. Before this time you hardly got any of that in WWF
The Piper vs Lawler match was strange, as it was the last match and I guess that makes it the main event. But it wasn't billed as the main event and was probably the 3rd most important match, behind the Champion vs Champion match and the KOTR Final. Actually the more I think about it, it wasn't the main event. The main event was Hart vs Diesel, but that match had to go before the KOTR Final, because the setup of the storyline with Jim Neidhart
piper was in great shape!!
Diesel had an injury?... To his lower body even?.. What an amazing surprise....
WWF magazine. Not WWE.
Mike Chioda was trained by Joe Marella and is ny favorite ref.
so whats the end song?
Roddy Piper was in great shape in 1994.
My favorite ref is Charles Robinson
Joey Morella should be in the Hall of Fame if for nothing else being the ref for some of the biggest matches of that time and for Gorilla Monsoon.
I was an avid subscriber to WWF Magazine for several years, even beyond the point where I became wised up to the whole 'This is scripted and the magazine you've been buying is a fantasy', thing. However, while the magazine was kayfabe, it had the best WWF related pictures, since it was, you know, official.
Finally!!! Plumpy is back!!!
Will you announce the RoTW qualifiers this week? It's still on right?
IRS didn't beat Rick Steiner in the King of the Ring qualifying tournament, but the future Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner, whom IRS beat.
I am a simple man i see top ten i simply click, i have never clicked so fast in my life for a whatculture video if it includes plumpy magical golden voice
I loved & I really miss the 1994 King of the Ring it was one of the best King of the Rings ever.
What the hell. The New Generation was my childhood and I remember everything about every pay-per-view. But Lawler vs Piper... what? I totally forgot that was a thing, let alone the main event, and even after watching this video it's still only vaguely ringing a bell... what the hell??? Was that really a thing that happened?
I was subscribed to wwe magazine because they printed match results early.
my favorite referee is Jon Cone
or however it's spelt
lol
What is the name of the song and the band which is in the end of the video?
whats the song at the end?
Scott Stainer lost... not rick
Scott Steiner lost to IRS in the qualifier...not Rick.
Rest in peace to Marella and everyone else featured that passed away.
Thank god it's Plumpy
amit banai lol ya, I can't watch Simons videos anymore with his shirts lmao
How long did this got uploaded
Diesel torn his groin by tearing his quad!
Omg it's back
Fascinating Facts....how can I not watch this plummpy hosted video. whoooppp! 😮
Joey Marella was also Gorilla Monsoons adopted son!
I'm sure he would have had a hand in getting him the good matches to officiate.
I absolutely forgot about the Tatanka spoiler. Pre-internet, this was one of the first big things my friends and I pointed to in determining that wrestling was fake (WCW spoiled Ric Flair winning the Unified World Title around the same time).
nice
How ripped was the Hot Rod?
I don't blame Monsoon for ignoring Art Donovan, I would've done the same if I were him
I assume that Kevin Nash also had the pulled groin during WrestleMania X. Why else would you give him such a huge push at the 94 Royal Rumble, but then not give him a match at Wrestlemania X and only have him involved for about 2 minutes of the Michaels vs Razor ladder match. And then make him IC champion just a month or so later.
Why is it Plumpy instead of King Ross, it's a TOP 10 about King Of The Ring after all
So...WWF magazine would print match results before they happened, does that mean they spoiled the storyline or the match was not live?
I wish the king of the ring is what the money in the bank ladder match is, with the winner being next in line for the title.
So he torn his groin. I was expecting a quad.

Surprised you didn't mention Joey Marella was Gorilla Monsoon's son.
No idea why they don't have king of the ring anymore. Imagine Boreman steamrolling everyone to win KOTR title every single year. Who doesn't wanna see that ?
Great list, but it doesn't answer one key question:
How much did this guy weigh?
my god thank you
Sha Samuels looks like Borat's manager, Azamat. True Story.
Mike Chioda? My fav ref is John Cone! Who knows why?
Rafael Santos HERE'S WHY
