Yeah, the quiet vocal volume in chorus was confirmed to be intentional (by Kai in Facebook as well as an audio engineer from the studio). In tje chorus Floor is singing as a part of a choir, however it's not easy to hear the choir either, since the whole song has such a nice "wall of sound". Some like it and some do not, but hey, that's Tuomas's vision 😃 And I agree that the video gave a lot more depth to the song. I bet the production of the video has cost a fortune, and there are two more videos coming 😁

The chorus lacks power because of the Floor's low mix. It prevents this become a hit or any kind of classic. Now it's only ok song with a very entertaining and guite funny video.
Maybe this song is about Nightwish as a whole, not so much about Floor's voice to shine. Its the stoy telling that mathers. So to me it makes sense why Floor's voice is a little low. Beautiful song nevertheless

Hyvä biisi ja hieno video. Mutta Floor miksattu aika alas. Kertsistä ei saa oikein selvää, mikä heikentää sen iskevyyttä. Outo valinta, mikä ei voi (eikä saa) olla sattumaa noilta ukkeleilta.
Juu, mielenkiintoinen juttu kyllä. Hahto sitä avasi et olis tarkoituksella tehty. Biisi/video on kyllä sinänsä upea. 😊🤘🏻
Ekalla kuuntelulla ihmetytti itseäkin, mutta siitten hoksasin että kyseessä on Tuomas ja vähän isommat palikat. Eli ei ole kyse Floorin laulutaitojen esittelystä, vaan taideteoksesta jossa Floor laulaa osana tätä koko maailman kaikkeuden kuoroa. Tuomas ei tee biisejä, vaan sävellyksiä. Vähän niinkun Sibelius, mutta eri genressä 🤘.

@@petrikuikka Voi olla, mutta huumorimiehenä kehittelin seuraavan ratkaisun. Holopaisen ja Jussilan mielestä miksaus alkoi olla pulkassa ja päivä täysi, kun heput huomasivat, että kertsissä Floorin ääni peittyy kuoroon ja tuomion pasuunoihin. Mikä nyt eteen? Pitääkö tehdä uusiksi vielä, ja kun iltakaljallekin tekisi jo mieli. Siihen Tuomas, "että mitä vielä, pannaan tuo pillipiipari kertaamaan se kertsi vielä lopuksi ilman taustoja. Hyvä siitä tulee". No ei tullu! 😅👍
@@SatuMSJaaskelainen-le4sc Niinpä niin. Sulla on käytössä ehkä maaliman paras laulaja, joka on nimenomaan tunnettu kirkkaasta ja voimakkaasta äänestään, sekä selkeästä artikulaatiosta. Pannaanpa se kertsissä rämpimään kuoron ja kaikenmaailman torvien kanssa valtameren pimeimpiin pohjamutiin. "Hähä, mä se olen pomo, enkä mä tästä hittiä haluakaan".
Minusta yksinkertaisesti huono ratkaisu, mutta ei se silti vaikuta maapallon tahi tornipöllön pään pyörimisliikkeeseen juuri lainkaan. Ok biisi ja hieno video. ⛄👍
