Hiking along the Salmon River near Mount Hood.

This is a hike along the Salmon River near Welches, Oregon, on the flanks of Mount Hood. Oregon has more than one salmon river. This hike crosses a short piece of national forest and then runs into the Salmon Huckleberry Wilderness. We followed the river until we turned around near Goat Camp.
This is a great hike.
