Reminds me of the time my area's county issued and activated weather radios went off for a tornado warning when it was a flash flood warning. I can't remember if that mistake also caused the sirens to sound or not, but i kind of think they did. Sadly, this was before I started making CZcams videos.
but didn’t this ad air from 1999-2002? like you also got to remember that transmitters around that time had live voice, and CRS paul (used on NWR alongside tom and donna until 2016)
@@ExplodeWasTaken yeah in the late 90's or the years before tom was new to the nws, paul was used for the nws before tom came in and was the voice for the national weather service in 2004 up until 2016 also i can't believe my other comment was almost a year ago lol

Braeden Kinnaird formerly Mini Stick Hockey it was displaying Flash Flood Watch.
They most likely didn't have really anything to get it to activate, so most likely they only were able to activate it for a FFA.

fuck no. i bought a radioshack 262 and it hardly ever goes off.
probably a 2007 version because those have decoder issues
I bought 3 12-262s in a month and they were all 2008 models and the tuners kept dying, I destroyed one
