So first I watched some solos of CCP members who had the opportunity to freely practice this fight before it went live server but I did not get any idea what actually was going on and frankly, this fight is quite boring to watch as well IMHO. So after I got used to fight and learned it myself I decided instead of trying to solo him actually explain what is going on in this fight and show mistakes too. Several Key Factors In Short: 1) There is 4 type of opening in this fight 1) Punishing his special attack 2) Punishing his heavy attack 3) Hitting him after Parry 4) Intercepting... it is very important not to repeat these actions: his screen shows what kind of opening is banned, so watch that, in the last two phases 2 actions is banned...So for example when intercepting and hitting after Parry is banned (already performed) you need to use the other 2...This is very important... Otherwise, you will get stunned. 2) Another key factor is to correctly dex his beam after you successfully perform openings...It takes some time to get used to the timing, so practice...that beams give you charges, after 10 charges he gets wounded and you can do damage...Dexing his sp.1 correctly is also a matter of practice need to get that timing correctly too... 3) The good news is that charges go in the next fight too so for example if you die at 8 charges you will start the next fight with 8 charges, so you don't need to start it from 0. 4) Some champions get benefits in these fights, namely ones that have access to many buffs or debuffs that's why Ultron is a popular option he has access to both...You can apply Odin's pre-fight to other champs too... 5) In this last phase, Sp.1, and beam dex timing is changing randomly you need to watch the screen it says Slow Motion, Normal Motion, or Fast, depending on this dex timing is also different. Which could be quite annoying and requires some practice. I think that's it...Overall he is quite a weird boss and not sure I like him or not.
You can also parry his beam attack and get a charge. I had issues with timing my dex after the intercept opening but could parry it every time. Was a little harder when he used slow motion though.
Obviously I couldn’t do no solo. What I did found a better way was that since the slipstream charges are persistent, they carry for entire team right so I try get all 10 of the charges with other champs, either I get ko or back out. I revive Nick Fury, his bleed is insane with deep wound, and being in second life. Just doing LLLL with light end bleed does so much damage. In case for Torch, he can do lots of damage if you can stay alive in the fight long enough because you can build lots of smolders. The better way if you are a scrub like myself and want to save units, is to take one champ like Nick Fury, awaken preferably. You have 4 other champs you can use to build up slipstream charges, once at 10, back out and revive Nick and go to town, Nick will do so much damage so fast without having to build him up like Torch and Smolders. This way you can save units by team reviving and repeating the process. It’s much cheaper.

Thanks for the explanation. I didn’t know or understand what to do but I managed to already beat him. Took me a loooong time! I used a lot of revives, health potions, and units. Good thing I saved all of them up previously from game play and didn’t have to spend money lol.

Better than the collector fight where it was just a unit grab. This one with enough research, can be done with a handful of revives and potions
