Sara, as a person recently diagnosed with MS, your videos including this one means a lot to me. I do hope you are doing well and please make even a very short video update when you can.
I hope you have a lovely Christmas with your family. I have several friends with MS, and I can see it is a difficult journey for them. I wish you the best outcomes with your MS and cancers. You are so courageous with unbelievable strength.
Merry Christmas! I will see about those shoes. I take walks with my husband, using my walker with the rubber tires. I need to purchase a new pair of shoes, so I will check into these. I have to use something to help me walk as my balance has issues. Thanks for the update!
Sara, you look so pretty..:) Thank you for the info on these shoes! I've never heard of these either. Super cute too! I have to have foot surgery (hallux Rigidus)in the New Year. Today, I just bought a pair of ugly croc's for after surgery. An old injury when I was pregnant with my third son. He's 17 yrs now! Ha. Have a wonderful Christmas and the very best in the New Year to you and your family. Another smoothie I 've been liking: Green grapes A bunch of fresh parsley chopped up Juice of a lemon Blend & enjoy:) 🎄🎄🌲
Great advice! finding shoes that work is so hard for me. My right leg is heavy. I was told I had foot drop for years but in reality I have "tone" or spasticity in my calf. By defining it right (thanks to a new PT) I am getting the right treatment- botox shots quarterly into my calf. I bought sketchers at the beginning of the summer and loved them as they are so light and washable besides! BUT- they stretched out over the summer and no longer provide enough support. I'll be looking again and will check these out ;-)
My biggest issue for feet is my right foot as well I was dx in 2021 a few weeks after I took the 2nd jab. As an RN we were required to take the jabs and symptoms started to appear rapid. The brand Finn Comfort work for me. Expensive though but they give me stability and no issues with the right foot ❤❤
I wear an AFO that starts under my right foot and extends nearly to my knee. The first one I had was very bulky and required an oversized shoe. This one fits into a normal sized shoe. It helps me walk a little farther with a little less pain but the big thing is far fewer falls.
Merry Christmas!! Crazy- i have a pair of vionic flip flops!! I live in AZ. They are the bomb 😊. Super duper cute. I got them because i was diagnosed with plantar fascitis but, like you, i walk better with my ms. I dont have dropfoot and i will need a wheelchair too out and about for long activities. But my feet hurt less in them. I have permantly partial numbness in both ankles and my 2-3 toes on ledt foot. I had no idea they also made tennis shoes!! Thank you Sara!!
Bless you, thanks for sharing. I just found your channel, I enjoy learning from others who are willing to share. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours. God bless🙏🎄💛
It's been a minute i hope she is still doing as best as she can be.
