This is the most difficult challenge in Montezuma 4, the secret in my humble opinion is, you don't look at combos multiplier, focus only on the board and constantly try to make combos, less than 2 seconds to execute your next steps. Trusting yourself can make all the difference, it is challenge that can be overcome, I hope you are happy and get your Platinum too.
It is a very extended execution of combos, focus only on the board. Always make a move thinking about the next ones, after 20 attempts I managed to make more than 100x. You will also succeed, believe in your potential. :)

Very hard to do..but ur tips help.got 88x and panic set in and messed it up.😂😂
