      Look through the video carefully again. I determined scale factors which I use to plot points.

    Even if you are not starting from the origin, must you use the same procedure? Thus considering only the highest value to find your scale

    • @yousciencelab5307
      @yousciencelab5307  Před 11 měsíci

      Yes. You can use the same procedures. All you need to do is to always subtract the intended value from the least value (the value at your origin), before dividing.

    Please I don't understand how to get a scale. Can you explain 😢😢

    • @yousciencelab5307
      @yousciencelab5307  Před 9 měsíci

      Okay.
      Here is an easy way to get a scale.
      Let's say you are plotting some masses (g) on the y - axis; say these values 8g, 11g, 13.5g, 15g, and 17g. And I want to start the graph from the origin, I'll look start the values from 0 as my minimum value and the highest value is 18, I'll move that 17g to 20. The reason why I'm shifting it to 20 is that I can easily divide 20 by 10. When I divide 20 by 10, I'll get 2.
      So my scale would be 2cm to represent 2g.
      When I plot this on the y - axis, the values would be 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20. You can stop at 18 since the highest value is 17.
