Having a trailer with all those lights is a pain in the ass.. if ONE of the lights go out, you can get a ticket by the DOT. And depending on how much of an ass the officer is, you can get put out of service if he feels like it.

It is in many respects, the one thing that makes me panic so many times though, is the on ramps 😂 in game trucks legit stop at the end of them and sit there, also the game designers made the on and off ramps of many locations unrealistically short, like less then 300ft short.
Get your drives in line where you want to back, cut the wheel till your tractor makes a 90° with trailer, once trailer is at 45° to where you want it, cut the wheel till your straight. -tipfromadriver Love your videos brother

I just spent about 2 million+ on trailers for almost all my drivers since they came out with this. I own about 20 garages with 4 drivers at each. Having the refrigerated trailer earns a lot especially with vaccines and medicines at around $156,000 a load depending on distance.
You have to access the Beta, The method to access it is as follows: Steam client → LIBRARY → right click on American Truck Simulator → Properties → Betas tab → public_beta → 1.32 public beta. No password required. ATS then might update again, you'll have the trailer manager after that and be able to purchase trailers.
You have to choose whether you want it forward or back upon purchase. Slide axles aren't a thing in the game. I hope it's added at some point. Turning is easier with it forward, stability is better with it back.
For deliveries, you can almost always choose easier spots if the most difficult is very tight, and both your trailer and truck are as long as they get. I heard the fifth wheel can be slid on real trucks for tighter turning; it's not a thing in the game either.

Different axle slide positions affect how the trailer handles and turns, like you slide them up to turn them quick and jack them around tight, and slide them back for regular driving
When you move the tandems you’re are either putting more weight on the tandems or more weight on the drive tires. It really does matter and has saved me an overweight ticket and a few grand a few times

I believe you have to subscribe to the mod and then in the game at the character screen you have to go to the mod manager and select the mods you subscribed to.

We Owner's usually like reffrs cause the back haul out of CA. Haul reg freight out to CA and bring produce back. Wish someone would put all of the USA on it and Canada by using a map app. And this trucking simulation needs to be updated. When I say updated I mean a down the mountain mini game in all seasons. Those who are drivers know what I mean. Hold it back down the mountain too fast smoke brakes. Be in proper gear or lose it all. And to separate the pro from the wheel holder a nice 45 mph cross wind on the trailer on about 4 inches of ice. Hold it strait or go jacked in the median. People play these games and think Trucking is Soo easy. But it's really a way of life. And not that simple. When your life and all others around you is in your hands your way of life on the line. It's not that easy. I did enjoy the game though. But since it's simulation it needs to simulate more.

I just found out that I am color blind, I get yellow/green mixed up sometimes and blue/purple mixed up sometimes. But for some reason the test says that I'm color deficient to red/green and the other two as well but in my life I have never gotten those colors mixed up before, they say its just because I didn't know I was color blind but I've gotten blue/purple mixed up and mixed, yellow/green mixed up and my family has noticed this, but never red/green. I 100% will fail the color plate test but I have heard of other test but I'm not sure if I would be able to pass those. I'm having trouble at the moment finding motivation to do anything right now (trying in school, doing homework and even waking up in the morning) just because the only thing I've ever wanted to since I was younger was fly and become a commercial pilot and finding out I might not be able to do that is devastating I just hope the industry will change in 6 years, because when I play x plane 11 I have no problem with the colors and I think that is something that people need to realise is that in my case I may not see the colors the same but its not like they're not there, For Example, if there's is an engine fire I know there is one or if the landing gear is down I will know that. I've heard of people cheating on the color plate test or even taking it to court. Im really just wondering what I should do, should I try to follow my dreams and see what happens or try to find something else that gives me the same feeling as flying. (Love the videos by the way)

I really hope that one day they add more company logos, and they allow you to put the logo both on your truck and the trailer. Maybe even signs at your depots. It would really add a nice personal touch to your trucks, trailers, and company.
Getting back into the game. Just got my first trailer. Never knew what was special about owning a trailer. I just thought it added a custom trailer to haul in the Job Market.
ive had a ps4 for 4 years and got sick of not being able to play this. i just bought myself 150.00 in pc parts and now I've basically played non-stop all weekend. endless mods and quite a challenging game. Worth every penny. ( hell i would paid 1,000s to do this.)

Its still smooth enough looking at 40 45 fps

Steam has them in the workshop, but some mods are on 3rd party websites. You just download one of those mods from the site and drag the file into your mods folder that is found in the documents section
I've been watching you for years and I really love that LSPDFR I watched it every day with my brother, but I would really like to see you start playing American Truck Simulator a lot more it would be really cool!
I think traffic depends on where you're at. If you're a long distance between cities. Especially out in an area where you might see signs warning you that the next gas station is 100 miles down the road, then traffic tends to thin out. It seems to me there is a lot more commuter traffic than long distance. Though, with Tucson and Pheonix being so close, there should be more traffic. The traffic you're seeing is what you'd expect between Salt Lake City and Reno. Strangly, it's the kind of traffic you'd see between Shreveport and I-10 on I-49 or Jackson and New Orleans on I-55.
I'd like to know the percentage of people who watch these kinds of videos who don't play this game and/or similar games. I don't play these kind of games because I don't have a pc powerful enough. Like if you don't play.
I don't play these, I drive a truck in real life though and I think it's pretty cool that people find my job interesting enough to play games like this :)
I drive a truck in real life for Sierra Express out of Chatsworth Ga. We run team California and back every week. I also have been into trucking games for many years since the original Hard Truck series. My pc is low end and its about 8 years old with a 50 dollar graphics card from Sal mart that I bought at the same time I bought the pc. It runs most all games on mid level settings just fine. I dont know about a percentage per say of people who actually play but I can tell you the truck gaming community is fairly big.
I run the 48 out of Salt Lake City :) I never tried playing, but I might. It would be cool to cruise around in some of these trucks haha. My jaw dropped when he was running 75 mph with 45k though! mpg's would be horrid! hahaha fun stuff
@@christopherclements5909 We run all 579's with pacars. They will run 70 flat out fully loaded. Carpet to phoenix / Fontana and produce back from Salinas / Piru. Bring home 1350 a week which is good money considering the local economy. 34 reset at home and then do it again. The company runs Washington and Oregon as well I just haven't made none of those runs yet. It pays a little more so I'm looking forward to doing a few here before too long. Be safe out there brother.

Car mods for the game are not worth it, untill they can fix the steering among other things with it
I should probably stick to farming simulator 19, but this looks fun

I really hope that one day they add more company logos, and they allow you to put the logo both on your truck and the trailer. Maybe even signs at your depots.
It would really add a nice personal touch to your trucks, trailers, and company.

Getting back into the game. Just got my first trailer. Never knew what was special about owning a trailer. I just thought it added a custom trailer to haul in the Job Market.

ive had a ps4 for 4 years and got sick of not being able to play this. i just bought myself 150.00 in pc parts and now I've basically played non-stop all weekend. endless mods and quite a challenging game. Worth every penny. ( hell i would paid 1,000s to do this.)

I literally hace 108 mods on ONE profile and it still won't break lmao.. Fps is running less than 60 fps, but i dint think it was ever getting that even without mods so who cares? Its still smooth enough looking at 40 45 fps

I am new to gaming pc where do I go found mods for this game.
Go to mod manger when load into the game in the first menu then look for modshop and it will automatically take you to mods available to game

Steam has them in the workshop, but some mods are on 3rd party websites. You just download one of those mods from the site and drag the file into your mods folder that is found in the documents section

I think traffic depends on where you're at. If you're a long distance between cities. Especially out in an area where you might see signs warning you that the next gas station is 100 miles down the road, then traffic tends to thin out. It seems to me there is a lot more commuter traffic than long distance. Though, with Tucson and Pheonix being so close, there should be more traffic. The traffic you're seeing is what you'd expect between Salt Lake City and Reno. Strangly, it's the kind of traffic you'd see between Shreveport and I-10 on I-49 or Jackson and New Orleans on I-55.

I don't play these, I drive a truck in real life though and I think it's pretty cool that people find my job interesting enough to play games like this :)

I drive a truck in real life for Sierra Express out of Chatsworth Ga. We run team California and back every week. I also have been into trucking games for many years since the original Hard Truck series. My pc is low end and its about 8 years old with a 50 dollar graphics card from Sal mart that I bought at the same time I bought the pc. It runs most all games on mid level settings just fine. I dont know about a percentage per say of people who actually play but I can tell you the truck gaming community is fairly big.
I run the 48 out of Salt Lake City :) I never tried playing, but I might. It would be cool to cruise around in some of these trucks haha. My jaw dropped when he was running 75 mph with 45k though! mpg's would be horrid! hahaha fun stuff
@@christopherclements5909 We run all 579's with pacars. They will run 70 flat out fully loaded. Carpet to phoenix / Fontana and produce back from Salinas / Piru. Bring home 1350 a week which is good money considering the local economy. 34 reset at home and then do it again. The company runs Washington and Oregon as well I just haven't made none of those runs yet. It pays a little more so I'm looking forward to doing a few here before too long. Be safe out there brother.

Moving the tandems may not affect your load but it will affect the turning radius when the wheesl are moved all the way to the back.
TL 11642470 In reality, moving the tandems and/or fifth wheel WILL change how much weight is transferred to which axles, aside from the maneuvering geometry.
You need an electric mirror on the right side so you can blind side the trailer to the dock. And thank God for having a Tracker IR. It's a life saver.
