I came across this video while looking for art projects for my daughter and bird videos. I usually skip right over them to find what I am looking for, but the second I saw the title and began watching the unbelievable skill and passion this man has for his craft, I couldn't stop watching. It is magnetic, and intoxicating to just sit and admire true artistic greatness, which is being so undervalued in our world today. And THAT is why I want my 13 year old artistic daughter to see masters like you. To know there are and to seek out the artists who have true love for their skill and for the people to whom they provide a wonderful service. Never stop dreaming, never stop believing. Tbh this is nothing special from a craftsmanship standpoint, this is what literally every jeweler(is that the right word?) does. However i do think that the Cinematography of the video is amazing and the message that it sends.

gosh i am such a sucker for videos like this; first of all the idea is very cool, to take a common hex nut and turn it into something fabulous; the craftsmanship is extraordinary, not to mention the cinematography! amazing shots, good music, and i love that you can also still hear the sounds from the tools. wonderful!

@@PabloCimadevila - Sir - you are a magnificent craftsman. I am a machinist. Can you explain how the nut which looked like cadmium plated steel, after crafting, appears gold? Did you plate it? I thought initially any ring made from steel would corrode in days. Thank you.

this is not a typical way jewelry is made .. this is hand made with some modern tool help but still way more laborious than traditional jewelry now a days

@@r7blue a lot of jewelry is still made this way, just not with that much wasted metal, but in this case it was for a challenge and fun. sure a lot of modern jewelry is designed in cad, some is printed directly into metal and some is printed into a model that is molded and then cast, but there is just no substitute for handmade especialy when it comes to high end jewelry.
and even with cad and printing - it still takes time and skill. but what we see above? IS traditional jewelry. even with printing, a lot of the techniques that he uses, are used to clean up the casting, to set the stone.
