Christmas 2006, brother and I unwrapped our own GBA SP's, this was the first game my parents bundled with it. Played the absolute shit out of it. Bought a cheat code book at a school book fair, started playing as all kinds of different characters and changing my saber color. Those were the days man, I look back on this with fond memories.

Probably the most obscure game I thought no one knew about, I remember having it growing up on my gba and it was weirdly fun, with the game having some levels that were not present in the complete saga such as an actual level on the attack on uutapau and the battle of Naboo from the gungans side. Never beat it as a kid until a few years ago I replayed it on my ds and finished it. To me it was a very nostalgic game and I still pick it up time to time to play it.

One thing I do unironically like about this game is that every force weilder gets his own special ability, such as Obi-Wan and Maul getting the Force Push and Dooku using Lightning, which he wasn't even able to do in the console version at the time. In the console version, the Jedi characters all play the same and the sith get a few extra abilities, making them effectively stronger characters.

I didn't have a gameboy, I played this game once at a friend's house. I instantly went home and recreated almost every single level of episode I. I didn't have any of the start wars legos at the time, so I used 2x3 triangles with 1X4 or 1x3 to specify enemy types. The droids were little lego "tanks", almost like the wii tanks, and the jedi were humans with fake looking lightsabers. It was a blast! I made trees, cities, etc. I add environmental damage, which helped me enjoyed it more as I had a new feature the game never had.

I used to have a paper with all the cheat codes I had figured out simply through trial and error. It was THIS GAME that taught me the Konami code. Also I loved cheezing the 1st Dooku fight by using a code that transforms you into a little Droid that caused earthquakes or something... I dunno, the screen shook and rocks fell from the sky. Also shout outs to the final Anakin v Obi wan fight, always loved that level. The clips of it in this video broke my mind, as I had completely forgotten about it.

That being the random quicktime lightsaber clashes that occured during Boss battles.
Those who don't know much, these quicktime events required You actually put effort into them. If you win the quicktime event, you knock some health off the enemy. You lose, and the enemy knocks considerable health off of you.
Those really spiced up the Boss fight sections, and am glad they are incorporating that in the New game :D

I had a ds growing up and I asked for lego Star Wars for Christmas and got this version instead, actually wasn’t too mad though, very fun game for what it was running on

I remember my dad brought this home from his trip to the US (we lived in japan) and I played the crap out of it. Not because I liked the game, but because it was 1 of only 3 games I owned at the time. I had to use a gba sp with a half broken right and left trigger where I had to press down with my life just to have obiwan do a force push or have jarjar do the frail running thing. Looking back at it... I had a great time...

The first brand new game that I bought was LEGO Star Wars for the GBA. Loved it and when I lost the original cartridge when I moved I new I had to buy it again. I ended up finding the one I lost though. Now I have two!

It's funny because on the vs with doku on ep 2 if you just stand in the middle not get too close where it initiates the level,
You use lightsaber throw contatantly at dokus direction (blindly) you can kill him without playing as Yoda and you even hear the theme song lol

I owned this game as a kid and always got stuck somehow on the Tusken Raider Camp mission and that was one of the prime examples of frustration next to Rebel Assault II from Star Wars games as a kid. This game also had a form of personal reverence as I remember that I got this game taken away from by my kindergarten teacher when I brought my game-boy to class. I would honestly bug her alot for the game back once a year but she just she lost it and in the back of my mind I would think about that...

Played this as a kid, I knew it was nowhere near as good as the console version but it was a good distraction when I was on the go.
